The date had the Côtes de Veau with a cream/sherry sauce and mushrooms and I had the veal Milanese with pasta, salad, and fries - both were good, sound, very French, and unremarkable. We were more entertained by a cute French bulldog going table to table and begging from anyone who paid attention. She was apparently the 'town' dog that everyone took care of. We also saw a fat, massive tortie (obviously pregnant) and other cats. Dessert was a pear tart with almonds and chocolate - also sound. Nothing was pretty on the eye but everything was sound and tasty. Fine, attentive service. 3.5 rounded up.
