It reminds me of an old Russian tea House past its prime but still elegant in it's once renowned Glory. I mean, this place is quite fancy in an understated way as many italian things seem to be. It is a tea shop, although they sell the full range of Italian pastries coffees chocolate and tea; everything that I have had here, literally, has been delicious. Those of you who read my reviews know that if I don't like something, y'all will know it and I'll try to say why but I can't really find anything about this place that I do not like. The staff, of course do not speak English but don't expect them to as you are in italy. They are friendly though and will help you in any way that they can with what you need from their place; no making you feel foolish here. Would I come here again? The coffee, baked goods, cheese, and chocolate are marvelous. Also, the service was incredible. Noting our poor French, one of the waiters (from the DC area) made us feel at home and talked to us. Also, took photos for us. Additionally, the place offers free wifi and encourages making phone calls to the USA on their phone system. If you are passing by, this place is an absolute must.

Was on empty and needed to eat REAL food after a 6 hour train ride. Healthy options, specials and great smoothies sold me. Followed my delicious salad with an iced coffee and I was revived! Then a week later, staying at an airport hotel, we came here and even though the kitchen closes at 3 pm, and it was 3:20 pm (sigh) the owner said we could order whatever we wanted. I nearly cried. He must have sensed the hangries coming on, big time. I had the vegetarian club (€10) and my bf had a pastrami club (€11). While I usually go with whole wheat bread, the white bread was just great. Both of us had a smoothie, pure fruit and veggies, nothing more. And we had to follow it up with a coffee! The bakery case was tempting with cookies, pastries and cakes. Really appreciate the owner's kindness and really enjoyed this charming cafe.
