Wonderful coincidences when I really needed it. My air conditioning unit stopped working suddenly…read more(NOT the "wonderful coincidence!). With weeks until my home warranty policy expires, I call for service and am told to use "whoever I choose." I tried several companies who were either closed on Sunday, or said I'd have to wait until Monday. NOT pleasant news!! Fortunately I discovered Essential Heating & Air, who were on other A/C jobs, but was able to get to my home inside of 2 hours. Enid is in a heatwave and the house has hit 85°; as I'm thinking "I'm at my limit, feeling sick and the dogs are showing discomfort," Chance calls to say he's on his way. He diagnosed the issue very rapidly, fixed the A/C compressor and washed it down. Before he left, the house was cooling off beautifully. The wonderful coincidence is I found the perfect company...available on a Sunday, very familiar with, and on a first-name-basis with my warranty company, so he was really able to streamline the process with that company. Just 4 days ago, a neighbor across the street had the same issue, but used a different company, who gave him a discount. The total bill, including a weekend emergency fee, labor and parts, was still less than what my neighbor paid to his company. Glad to say, I finally used my warranty company and only paid a policy deduction fee. Thank you Chance & Essential Heating & Air!!

I had a CROUCH H&A tech come to my home on a hot Friday afternoon in August 2023. He climbed in…read morethe attic and informed me my attic fan was out. This cost me $186. He never checked the outside unit. My guess is he just wanted to go home. I replaced the attic fan. This helped some. I then had another HVAC come and check the FREON. I have a 4 ton unit. I WAS 4 POUNDS LOW, YES 4 POUNDS!!! THE CROUCH GRANDSON NEVER CHECKED THE FREON. NEVER WENT OUTSIDE TO THE UNIT. NEVER!!! I contacted Crouch through email for documentation purposes. I asked them about an extra travel charge that was never communicated to me, here is what they said. No concessions, no nothing "Okay, sorry about not telling you, It costs alot to run 6 trucks in counties. Time is money! BUYER BEWARE, WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH SO CALLED HVAC COMPANY.
