Both are incredibly gracious and generous, and express their bright personalities through their food and service. The restaurant itself is located in a romantic cavelike grotto that was apparently a "frantoio" (olive mill) dating back to the 1100s. Simple, seasonal Puglian cuisine, featuring seafood, meats, and cheeses. Dishes changing with the seasons and cooked with elegance. Owner Giuseppe Fabrizio Nacci was there to explain it all and give suggestions. What a nice guy! And what a great dinner experience. All the dishes were standouts; great pasta with calamari, and orecchiette with tomatoes and ham from Martina Franca, but we were in 7th heaven after ordering the slow-cooked lamb-shank as a secondo to split among the 3 of us. It took a while (it was, indeed, tender and slow-cooked) and was just divine. Great Puglian wine-list. If you have only one dinner in old-town Ostuni, I'd strongly recommend this one.
