What truly made the evening exceptional, though, was the hospitality. The owners graciously accepted our reservation on a day they are normally closed. We were in Ostuni to honor what would have been the birthday of my son, who passed away a few years ago, and their kindness and willingness to accommodate us meant more than words can express. The food on its own is one of the best we have had in Italy, but the real gem is its owners Fabrizio and Donatello. Both are incredibly gracious and generous, and express their bright personalities through their food and service. My fiancé and I dinned here and they made our evening and time in Ostuni feel truly special.  We would recommend a reservation to make the most of the experience. The lamb is amazing, and the spaghetti with octopus is probably my favorite coastal dish. Truly impressive how they are able to deliver from both land and sea.
