The staff were all very friendly (looks to be a family establishment). We were in search for Iskender (not all places have it) but we didn't see it on the menu (though there were plenty of other tasty sounding choices). Our server was very helpful and pointed out their special. Their version is made from ground meat instead of the more traditional Döner. This was even better! And the tomato sauce and yogurt were not all runny, which was also a plus. All in all, if you're up for a delightful dinner experience and some excellent food, I highly recommend a stop by. The chef did not speak English, but we managed ordering what we wanted by pointing at the menu. Speaking of which, the menu was quite extensive unlike most other döner kebap shops I'm accustomed to, but I thought combination plates were somewhat pricey. I usually order Lamacun (Turkish pizza wrap), but it was over 6 €, so I decided not to get it (normally around 5 €, but it is a touristy spot). I was quite satisfied with what we had for our quick lunch especially under current COVID health protection ordinance...everything has to be "to go." We sat on a bench at quiet Hofgarten and enjoyed our döner kebap on a very pleasant spring day.
