Great service. Wonderful latte! This is the kind of place I'd return day after day for my cup of coffee.

This is a popular cafe near a popular church. The menu is small but has the main stuff. There's also some food choices, such as muffins and pastries. I got an americano and a blueberry muffin. The coffee was fine, freshly made. The muffin was also fresh, it's not made in house but from somewhere else, but tasted good in the early morning. There's lots of seating inside with a good view of the plaza.

This Brujula is located on the corner of Ignacio Allende & Macedonio Alcalá, just on the other side of this lovely pedestrian street, steps away from the famous Church of Santo Domingo de Guzman. We stopped in one afternoon here for a cappuccino & a cafe frappe. It's a very popular spot & they also serve food. We enjoyed both our drinks & the atmosphere here very much. It's a festive spot & the staff is very friendly. Would definitely return here & recommend it to anyone. No cocktails here though. So, if you're only interested in a drink stronger than caffeine, you might want to stay away.

This trendy coffee bar is a great place to have a small meeting or a social gathering with friends. Because of the location, space and tranquility, this Brujula (there are four in Oaxaca) is my favourite one. The coffee is organic coffee from several places in the state of Oaxaca and has a great taste. The fresh smoothies and crushed ice drinks are really refreshing. I do recommend to ask for less sugar, as they love putting loads of sugar in everything in Mexico. They also have delicious cakes; chocolate, carrot and lemon cheese cake and cookies. The courtyard is a big and has a lot of tables and chairs. The service is excellent and the employees are really friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is perfect for people who want to work/Skype or write a review in Yelp!;) You also get a stamp card and with 10 stamps (one per visit) you get a free drink!;) You can collect stamps from the different Brujula coffee shops and also hand in your full card at any of the shops.

This is like a Oaxacan Starbucks, they have tasty drinks and a delicious blueberry muffin. The prices are closer to Starbucks in America, but there's plenty of seating and the place is next to a beautiful church. Worth checking out once at least. Also, I had a "cajeta" latte which is like Mexican caramel, if you like sweet it's for you.

Good coffee with lots of non dairy milk options. Great americano with soy milk. They are fast and reasonably priced as well.

The iced latte was delicious! It was the perfect way to cool down and caffeine up before continuing my day adventures in Oaxaca.

This is not as well-known as other popular cafe spots in the area so it's not as busy and there is seating inside. We ordered the shakshuka ($125) and baguette jamon serrano y mozarella ($195). The shakshuka base was more of a soup than a sauce and its flavor was decent. We asked for the sandwich without olives but it still had some in there but it was fine. For drinks the flat white ($65) and americano ($45) were okay. It's more peaceful and not as busy if that's the vibe you're looking for. If you want another place to relax you can head through the door at the back of the cafe to the lobby of the hotel. If you're staying at the hotel this cafe is very convenient to get pastries or coffee.

It's a tad bit romantic in there with low lit lighting.) it's really beautiful I tried to sit out there but was not allowed. It is for guest to the hotel. I had no idea it was part of a hotel. Gorgeous building. That hidden door makes sense. Mostly tourist, a few pretentious folk making me smile. I feel like if I don't look up I could be back at home in echo park. There is a local getting some work done on his laptop next to me. Small place, you could sit at the bar , there's 5 wooden stools. Now to the coffee. I had a single cappuccino with oatmilk. Strong and delicious coffee. It makes me not want to try other coffee shops but I must compare! You'll find goat milk yogurt here and chia pudding which I need before I venture off to my temazcal. Good coffee and grateful for light breakfast items items that are good for my sensitive gut. I asked and the coffee beans are legit from Oaxaca roasted from a place called San Juan cacahuatepec.
