Clean plate club (salsa, chips and queso)

Stopped in here to grab a gift card and decided to grab some chips and queso and salsa. The queso was creamy and just what I hoped it would be with a little kick (but nothing crazy). The salsa was okay - not a ton of seasoning, but it was definitely fresh. The Bloody María (tequila in place of vodka) hit the spot too! I sat at the bar and was served quickly!

November 2025: I went to Cafe Corazon in Riverwest with three family members to celebrate a birthday. Two of the family members are ADA. When we arrived, we were welcomed by staff and seated at a lovely booth at the back of the restaurant near the restroom, which was perfect. There was enough space for us all and the location was what we preferred. Very accommodating. Our waitress was wonderful and friendly! I believe her name was Selene. She provided exceptional customer service. For lunch, I ordered the avocado salad with chicken and it was amazing! Fresh, quality ingredients, filling, and I liked the seasoning on the chicken. My family ordered the steak tacos, both Mexican and American style, and the breakfast tacos on the brunch menu. We all loved our food! To end the lunch, we had their homemade Tres Leches Cake topped with toasted coconut. It tasted like it came right out of some Abuela's kitchen. It was so good!

Vibes are wonderful 6 years later. Food is still good. It's still a full house. Every. Time. (Granted, it's small lol) Corazon Salad Asked for the beans and rice on the side, and the salad was super yummy with shrimp as protein. The shrimp was scrumptious, fat and juicy. Definitely will have again while on keto. Best Burrito Best of both worlds, I guess. It's not as smothered in sauce like the wet burrito, and it comes with both green and red sauces. Hubby prefers regular over wet, but tried this one, and likes best best. Stuffed Bell Pepper It's so stuffed that you can't see the bell pepper. Had to dig around to see that it did indeed have peppers. Haha. Friend says it had very good taste. To remember, Corazon salad was da bomb.

They have the best burrito in Milwaukee for a reason!!! I highly recommend the wet burrito with both green and red sauces. Also their margs are great and strong. Vibes are great. Service was very good! There is limited seating, so be prepared for a wait at busy dinner times, but it's worth it!

    WET BURRITO

Food was good! Just wish I had a little more guac and sour cream in my burrito but still tasted good! Cheesy dip with the chips was delicious. I think this is a solid place to eat in Bayview

I met a friend for dinner one Friday night - we got there early thankfully. This location is smaller, and we were in the small section where the bar is. The atmosphere is lively, service was attentive. I ordered the taco truck dinner, and my friend ordered the best burrito. We munched on chips and salsa, which were crispy and yummy, and I ordered the house margarita. Portions were generous- we both took to-go boxes. We enjoyed our food - good Mexican food!

This is our second time eating here. We like the ambiance- it's a funky place. Chips and salsa were really good- our entrees were all good- the torta big and loaded with toppings. The enchilada dinners were filling.

Solid Mexican spot with a cute patio (perfect for a summer day) located in a hip area of the north side of Milwaukee. I walked over here with some friends since they recently bought a home in the area and it was a perfect Sunday lunch spot for us. I ordered one of their wet burritos and it was very filling and delicious. I do have to point out that the green salsa that they have at the table is SOOO good and has a great kick to it. Some people might not be able to handle it, but I loved it so much that I asked for a few containers of it to-go. Soooo good! My Paloma cocktail was a bit watered down so that was the only negative part of coming here, but other than that - highly recommend!

Jesus Christ and really good food are what's waiting for you at this cute little spot! I had never been to this particular location, but I was not disappointed. Due to a last minute change in our dining plans, we decided to come here, but the wait was less than 30 minutes. The entrance is a little crowded with minimal waiting space, but you are welcome to wait at the bar with a drink. Once we were seated, we were initially hit with a mouthwatering smell of fajitas thanks to the table next to us. I ordered their special drink of the day, the tamarind margarita which, to be honest, was the only disappointing part of the dinner. While tasty, the tamarind flavor was very light and barely discernible to my palate. The food, however, was exactly what I wanted and remembered. Of note, the spicy salsa verde that came with the complimentary chips definitely packed a punch (and was equally flavorful) and was available in a bottle for your table! The chips were warm, well seasoned, and tasted great even on its own. The burritos were large (too large for us to finish). My husband got soy chorizo in his which he loved. I got sautéed veggies in mine covered with half and half of red and green enchilada sauce. I enjoyed the green sauce a lot more than the red (which was more smoky). I used the spicy salsa verde as a hot sauce for my burrito and it made it taste even better. I am looking forward to taking my leftovers to work tomorrow - the only reason I'm looking forward to work. We will be back!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee! Always met with the most welcoming employees and great service. The food speaks for itself 10/10 would recommend!!

Hubsy gushed about this bar enough that I resisted until Saturday night when I felt restless. Inside, Two is a low-lit neighborhood bar. There's a fair number of large tables for groups and the booths noted by other reviewers behind bead curtains. Two glows like the inside of a supernatural heart. Warm, red, and playing some solid music -- some I recognized (Death Cab for Cutie) and others I didn't (the bluesy tune). There's a jukebox. The location: Located next to its flashier cousin, Art Bar, it's easy to miss Two. About 3-4 blocks west of Humboldt on Burleigh, use Art Bar as your landmark. There's plenty of unmetered street parking on Burleigh or the residential streets. The service: When we walked in, we were greeted immediately by the bartender. She also asked if we had ever been there before. Based on the people who came in after us, my guess is that she knows the regulars. Very cool. The drinks: My first sip of Dark and Stormy was all rum. I didn't mind, so when I stirred, it was perfectly balanced. Good ginger beer, good rum. The Moscow Mule Hubsy got was sweeter than my drink which was surprising but delightful. Each of our drinks were $8.50. I didn't pay attention to the beer specials, but maybe next time. Next time: I'll probably stay longer to do some people-watching and writing. Maybe I'll check out the beer.

It felt like a fancier bar, more than just the classic tavern style every Milwaukee bar is serving up. Fully loaded beer/drink menu. We sat outside since it was beautiful out. It started out fantastic, but after we received our food, we were never checked on again and actually had to literally chase down our server to get the bill. Outside there were three tables of people, one large group who was waiting for the baseball shuttle and just drinking. Two larger tables were set up as reserved inside. They slowly filled as we ate our meal. And one other table of two came in after us. There were maybe 4 people at the bar. All this to say, it wasn't crazy busy by any stretch. We started with one server (who was really good) who took our order then we were handed off to another (who wasn't bad). When we arrived we were one of two tables inside. There were three servers on the floor and two behind the bar which was adequate for the number of people dining. Our initial server apparently was working the reserved seating, but even still, the second server never checked on us after we received our food. Also, we didn't receive our entire order. We weren't charged for the food we didn't get, but had anyone stopped by to refill water or see if we wanted more drinks, we could have asked about the missing food. So, all in all, not the worst dining experience ever, but not the best. Being ignored is never fun.
