The pricing is typical for central location. About 12 euros for the entire meal. It's definitely more about the ambience. Friendly staff and speak good English. For a comfortable place to sip wine or beer and watch and chat, it is wonderful. Food wise nothing spectacular, but with all food here: fresh and organic, so very healthy.

We found the staff to be extremely helpful and the dishes to be very tasty. One very cool feature is that they have access to the adjacent St Martini church. For one euro they let you in to a secret door at the back of the café and presto you are in the centuries old church. I will definitely go back upon my next visit to Groningen.
