What a wonderful cup of coffee! Hot, but not too hot, strong, but not bitter and just the right flavoring. I also had a savory pastry fresh from the oven with sausage and caramelized red onion. My friend enjoyed her soup of the day, spinach and potato, with fresh croutons. Her Americano coffee was served in a large, sturdy cup keeping her coffee hot while we enjoyed the clean quiet cafe. It was a perfect place for a catch up chat for us and would serve equally as well for smaller groups of people to enjoy a comfortable breakfast or lunch of sandwiches or other hot meal offerings like omelettes and fish and chips. There is comfortable indoor seating and in nicer weather, there is an outdoor seating area. I really enjoyed our afternoon snack and look forward to another visit next time I am in Ipswich!

A fantastic warm and friendly feel as soon as you walk in, and an array of locally grown and produced foods welcome you through the door - an array I have been assured will expand as they further establish. The full English is fantastic, highly recommended and I am not sure why, but the coffee was by far the best I had all week (was on holiday there)...so good in fact, I had 2. If you are in the area, go in, say hi, shop, have coffee (2 even) and drink it all in, trully is a lovely place. We passed by it every day for a week and each time we said 'oh, we should pop in there!' and only did on the penultimate day of the holiday...but returned the next day too for breakfast, kicking ourselves for not going in sooner:)
