Crazy breakfast sandwich was so good with eggplant. Perfect latte macchiato and good service. Very quaint and easy to find in Bellzenplatz.

There is a bar off to the side of the restaurant. There is a nice view to the Rhein harbor from the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was lacking in that any request for cooked meat needed to be made by the cook. There were breads, fruit, yogurt and juices to choose from but most of my preferences needed to be requested to the cook, which took longer than expected. The service was lacking as well as the server would disappear for long periods of time. I received better service from the cook. I did request a pancake and received a Dutch Baby; it tasted really good and he was really proud of it. I ate here for dinner one night and ordered the 300 g Beef Filet. It was cooked perfectly but was not seasoned. I ordered it with fries and spinach. The spinach was served with onions in it so I did not eat much of it and the fries were OK. I ordered a few beers here in which they served Frankenheim Alt Bier. The beers were good and it was the best part of my meal. My service was also lacking at dinner service. Two stars!

So I decided to check this place out. The style sort of reminds me the Cloud Gate in Chicago, but yet really different. Pebble's is an open bar. It didn't take me a lot time to get here and I enjoyed the view on the way, really nice modern architectures around. Hyatt hotel is close by. When I got there, there couple places for the visitor to sit down. I picked the place that face to the Rheinturm and the city. The weather was so nice as well, the view was just amazing, I grab myself a chair just lay back and enjoyed the time. It was quite quiet there. Great place to catch up with friends or just read a book. Pebble's is a self service bar, if you like to drink something, better going to this silver cool looking thing. Even you don't order anything, just want to have a look of the view. They won't stop you, just go ahead have a walk. I really like this place, I think this is a brilliant place and worth to visit.

The drinks are ok and the staff friendly, but the main reason why I would warmly recommend this place is the fantastic outdoor terrace with unbeatable views over Düsseldorf's Medienhafen.

I got the sea bass which sounded good in the menu. When it arrived on my plate as a whole fish I started to change my mind but one bite and I was assured I made the right choice. Very fresh, seasoned just right and a generous portion. The arrabiata pasta with shrimp was good also, but my favorite remains their fresh black taglierini pasta with salmon tomato and broccoli in a butter sauce I had off their special menu -it was amazing! Wish they would add it to their regular menu. Price is what you'd expect for that part of town (15-25 euro for a main). The waiters tend to be a bit more relaxed which is great if you want to have a leisurely dinner, but if you're in any kind of hurry you might find it slow or annoying how long it takes them to come take your order.

Very nice atmosphere! The decoration inside is cool and trendy but a bit much in my personal opinion. The service is very nice and friendly, they took very good care of us. Now, the down side for me was the food it self, for the price you pay, which is quite expensive, I was expecting more. The food is not bad, don't get me wrong, but the flavors aren't so special. I got to try a number of starters and my favorite one was the bread salad with prawns. As a main course I had the mushroom risotto with tuna, which lacked creaminess and flavor. My dessert was the chocolate mousse, it was nice but I wished it was darker. Overall, a good experience but a little overpriced.
