I love Italian food, and since my girl lives close to this restaurant, it had to be checked out…read more
It was a pretty busy night, but we were seated pretty quick. The waiter looked over from time to time to see if we had decided what to eat.
We ordered garlic bread and garlic shrimp as appetizers. I ordered a pasta penne with meat and creamed sauce, and my better half ordered a pasta with squash, bacon, gorgonzola and creamed sauce.
The appetizers came after about 15mins, which for me is perfect, so I have time to enjoy my beer and talk before the first dish comes.
The garlic bread and shrimp were standard, no fancy stuff, and no "wow" when it came to taste.
The main courses were good. I ordered a double portion of the meat&cream pasta, and got a HUGE plate with food. It tasted pretty good, and definitely home made. The bacon&cream pasta my girl got was also good, but both dishes could of course have been better.
We skipped dessert this time.
All in all this was a visit worth taking, and we would come back again some other time.
559,- for 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, a beer and a coke is not that bad though.
