If you're coming here for the first time, this is definitely something you don't want to pass up on! If you're looking for an appetizer, the sampler is delicious. There is a wide variety of traditional Greek foods on it. My favorite is the stuffed red pepper with feta cheese. The service is quite pleasant most times and very quick. Kreta is fairly small, maybe a dozen or so tables of varying sizes, and it shares an entranceway from the street with another restaurant, so don't look for a dedicated doorway off Marketplat (just look across the street from Aladdin Grlll and slightly away from the clock tower). My Kritharakia (orzo with a tomato and meat sauce, topped with cheese and baked) was good and filling. The greek farm salad was exactly what I wanted; lots of tomatoes, cucumber, and onions with a couple olives, topped with two slices of feta and drizzled with olive oil and herbs. It wasn't some mind-blowing salad, but it was a nice change of pace to get so much fresh veggies in Germany. If I liked ouzo I'd have enjoyed the complementary shot of it that came with my Sprite, but I'm just not a fan of licorice-flavored liquor unfortunately.

This was the show stopper for me. The meat was "fall off the bone" tender and the pork rind was crispy delicious. Don't like beer? Try one anyway. I tried a lemon beer that was surprisingly refreshing. I have got to squeeze in another trip to eat here before I leave the area.
