The firm then proceeded to stretch the case out across multiple needless additional court visits over the course of a year for the sole purpose of racking up billable hours and "negotiating" with the other party and their attorney along the way, all while keeping the case away from the judge and out of a hearing because it would've easily and mercifully have ended should that happen. We began to suspect the attorney was mishandling our case and got to the point we felt continuing to use him was actively sabotaging our chances at the proper outcome. In effort to protect ourselves, we later had our case reviewed by another attorney who explicitly told us based on this firm's handling of our case, that's exactly what was happening. Communication was poor and at times outright callous, and at no point did I or my family ever feel this attorney or his firm were looking out for anyone other than themselves and racking up as many billable hours as possible. This firm will rationalize it's attempts to charge hundreds of dollars for simple correspondence as well, from 5 minute phone calls they themselves initiate, to emails no longer than a few sentences and everything in between, so prospective clients beware.

An attorney where your info makes it past the receptionist and all team members can be on the same page. An attorney who answers your phone calls or returns them and has a clue what's going on. A clinet should never have to reach out to the AG on personal time, and have the attorneys office on the other line to figure out where the child support is, why it's not getting received, and held 1,600 as I'm being hounded for payment from Melinda and her team. But the source of the problem was something only the attorney can handle. No answers about anything else, and the answers I did get I had to figure out myself and then was charged for the call. Or being "fired" as a clinet the day before my court date because her receptionist didn't properly communicate something to me that Kendall did in court, and then Melinda decided to stay my attorney, but still billed me for the whole process. Just wrong. Again, do your research. You're paying thousands of dollars to people who don't care what happens in your case as long as they get you the bare minimum. Kendall was the only person on this team that made me feel secure and communicated professionally in this 2 year process. It's sad when you personally go to the office more than a week ahead of time and tell them you're not moving forward or agreeing to anything further without a discovery and show up for mediation and it still wasn't done. But you were charged for stopping by. Can't get any back child support because it was in the middle of a "case."
