Went here on Valentine's day to celebrate Galentine! We both love seafood and we decided to try this place because of the review and distance,and we love trying something new as well. We ordered 1 lb or shrimp, clam, and also Oyster, with some corns and potatoes. I love their shrimp because they are so juicy and fresh! We really enjoyed our time there. Ordered take out here via phone! The worker was an older Vietnamese gentleman, very nice and helpful. No hassles there and he was really nice when we came in to pick up our order too. There was a sign that said no public restrooms but since we purchased to go, he was nice enough to let me use it (thank god cuz we were ready to rush to the AMC nearby). We got the: 1) 1lb white shrimp with all 3 add-ons of sausage, potato, and corn on the cob: -We got extra spicy with all 3 flavors mixed in (Cajun sensation, garlic butter, and lemon pepper). -Actually really spicy after a couple bites and tastes great with the zing of lemon and I LOVE Cajun flavoring. -Something about this seasoning tasted more "Vietnamese" than what I'm used to at other Cajun seafood places. Is it the spiciness? Is it the fact that it's not too sour? I'm not entirely sure but at a lower heat, I'm sure my parents and my grandparents would love it. -I usually don't eat the shrimp tails, but they were slightly crispy enough for me to enjoy it. -The shrimp were fresh and REALLY soaked in the sauce very well. I really dislike it when I go to a Cajun place and the shrimp is dead dry despite being drenched in sauce. Not here! -Wish there were more slices of sausages, but I'm sure that's only because I'm a glutton. Slightly spicy and peppery. -The corn on the cob was nicely buttery and the sweetness went great with how spicy we made our bag of shrimp to be. -The potatoes needed to be split apart so that it soaked in the sauce, but after it did that, it was FIRE. 2) Vietnamese egg rolls: -Not bad, but a bit skinnier than what I'm used to. -Came with 6 pieces and not mega oily like they make them at BMC. -Not bad, especially dipped in the sauce too. Finger licking good (even though I was wearing gloves so I didn't get it all over myself and the theater seats)! Everyone who sat around us in the theater was turning their heads at the delicious smell of this cajun seafood boil. We tried this one closer to home & we can't deny it's a tasty crawfish preps in garlic sauce with Vietnamese inspired flavors including your choice of level of spiciness. We opted for the crawfish in garlicky sauce & sausage as well as lemon pepper chicken wings. These are 'finger lickin' good! Could have enjoyed them more if we ordered a side of rice. Suggestion: take home your leftover sauce to sauté your rice or use as base for cooking gumbo or garlicky jambalaya. Plenty of parking & the owners are very engaging & accommodating. First time at this restaurant since we saw that this place was almost 5 stars! I can see why the reviews were so high! The place was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. We ordered 1 lb shrimp and 1.5 lbs of clams (all 3 seasonings, medium spicy), cajun fries, and two orders of rice. I can taste Vietnamese/Cajun fusion in their seafood. The sauce had a hint of sweetness while still being decently spicy. The best part about the food was that it felt healthier than most places with all the oiliness cut out. After leaving the place, I didn't feel over bloated or gross feeling like when I eat a lot of oily food. I also had the pleasure of having a conversation with Nam, the owner, and I can tell he is very passionate about his restaurant.
