Hmm for $17 I was a bit disappointed seeing a dome of whipped cream in the deep center of the cheesecake (cutting corners on ingredients?). The cheesecake part itself tasted unbalanced; different levels of tanginess and sweetness in each bite. If you get a frozen one (the staff member would warn you about it) once defrosted the texture has some slight curdle and is super mousse-y (whipped to oblivion and easily falls apart when trying to cut it). Definitely not the dense kind of cheesecake. I tried the ube one and the flavoring is straight ube extract. Not really inventive, but it's there. The only thing I liked was the crust. Sturdy and tasted just like a cinnamon sugar cookie. Tasty! Eh, maybe I just visited at a bad time, but I'd say it's worth checking out only if you have a real hankering for some cheesecake after feasting at one of the DOCO restaurants. read more

From Instagram, it looks like their brick and mortar opened in 2023, and they're located upstairs next to the movie theater. Service was pleasant, and the woman walked us through all the flavors in the case. My partner and I agreed on pumpkin spice, but next time, I'd be interested in the chocolate or cherry pie. I got the circus animal flavored one and it was delicious, rich, creamy, sweet, cheesy, it was $17 or $18 I don't remember. They don't take cash. You can walk in and buy it not anywhere to really sit and eat it in the store but there is plenty of seating in the area outside where you can people watch. The whole experience is boujee you get your boujee cheesecake and sit and doco somewhere and eat it. Very lucky we have this in the area! read more

To be very honest I was a little skeptical of getting anything but wow am I glad I did. This is a new dessert shop in DOCO and after dinner we wanted to stop by and try it out. They only had cheesecake which was surprising because it's called "Cakes by Jeff.." but the owner said that they only sell cheesecakes but might bring cakes in later on. I can see why they only sell the cheesecake right now because it's one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had and it's one of my go to desserts. The flavor was so rich and perfect mixture of cream cheese and sweetness. The crust is also soo good!! The owner (I think) greeted us and was super friendly. He recommended we try the raspberry chocolate but the best ones were already sold out so I'll be needing to go back.
