It was such a whirlwind time for us... poor Jake lol. Almost 2 years after purchasing my home, I received this incredibly kind message from Jake, in April of 2020 saying, "He would be in the neighborhood and wanted to drop off a care package + spring cleaning kit." Because of stay at home/COVID19, he texted that he, "could drop it off right outside our front gate." We accepted this kind gesture and could not have been more floored and shocked! The photos are what we received, including tough to find items like Clorox, hand sanitizer, and an absolutly positive and uplifting personal handwritten card/note. This is such a selfless act of helping others in such a precarious time. I can't imagine the individual difficulties we are all going through, his personal business, and as mother of a 19 month old, such a small gift brought much emotion and a little bit of tears. When we first started the home hunt, we worked with 2 realtors. One that was suggested by a work colleague, that was nightmare. I told that agent the home that inspired my hunt and in maybe 6 months I had 1 call/email, and another call in which he berated/spoke down to me and one listing he sent outside of my area. He even started to start drama with Jake when he found out we went him and Jake brushed it off! Another friend recommended her agent, but that agent kept showing us places out of our desired areas repeatedly. I was giving up hope on the process and agents. Then we met with Jake.
