First time and Im not going to any other barber but this one. I'm bringing my kids here to have their haircuts as well

This a great old school barber shop! It's like a neighborhood hang out where everybody knows each other. Being a single mom, I'm always the one bringing my boy for a haircut. Sometimes I'll hang out, but often I'll drop him so he can have some "guy" time to trash talk with Randy and Terry about things he probably doesn't want mom to hear! Lol. read more

Had been here before and knew they did walk ins so figured I would go again....walk in and am greeted with "Sorry, we don't do black hair. Maybe try down Harding". A better route would have been "sorry our barbers aren't really skilled enough to handle that texture of hair, my apologies. I do have a recommendation for you though." read more

I give this barbershop 1 star for the simple reason my son now has a 5 head! We asked for a 0 fade on the sides leave the top and a line up and the barber I would say is old school in his methods and knowledge of haircuts. Seems like a cool place if you want a five head and choppy fade. Picture to come. read more

I've always dreaded getting my hair cut. I never really know how to describe what I want, and it's hard to build a good bro relationship with someone you see once every couple months. But this shop... oh, this is different. I walked in randomly one day. I decided it was time to get the mop on top of my head cut. A friend of mine comes here, so I figured I'd try it out. The second I walked in all the barbers greeted me, Andy Griffith Mayberry style, and offered me a drink and a seat while I waited. Waiting to get my haircut was no problem, as the guys in there had the typical playful banter and jokes with each other that kept the place lively and filled with chuckles. I didn't know it at the time, but the guy I let cut my hair, Chris, is the only person I'll ever trust with scissors near my head again. He took my nonsensical directions for cutting my hair and turned it into a masterpiece. I got compliments for weeks after getting it cut by him. I was sold. I waited a full 10 weeks before getting it cut again, roughly equivalent to a century in haircut-years. I could barely recognize myself in the mirror, so it was time to get it cut. I went back, expecting to explain my haircut style to Chris all over again. I mean, the guy probably saw hundreds of people since my last haircut, surely he wouldn't remember me. But I sat down in the chair, and Chris was like, "What's up Josh? Same thing as last time?" TEN WEEKS since I had seen that guy. He is a god among barbers. TL:DR - this shop is dope. Chris is amazing, make sure you make an appointment. 14 bucks for a haircut that won't stop pulling the girls, and the dudes working there are super cool. read more

This is the only shop I like to go to. It has that old school feel that is synonymous with what the Barber shops use to be like. The Prices are on point and I never cease to get a good laugh when I'm there. being within 2 minutes walking distance is also a HUGE plus for me personally. But, after being there, I already know I'd drive out of my way for this place. read more

Pomade for a wide selection, straight razor shave will have you looking great with a world class cut. Beats any haircut I've gotten in the Bay and destroys them on prices. After reading some Yelp reviews, I thought I'd check this place out. Great group of guys bantering with each other while the evening news/basketball game played in the background. I didn't have to wait so that's always a plus. I got my haircut (high n tight) done by Randy. He did an excellent job making sure I was squared away before I got out of his chair. Had tried multiple barbershop in stockton even salons and this is probably the best one in the area. I am from the bay area too and there is nobody that can do haircuts like them. Very chill people! My previous haircutting place messed up my hair but Randy fixed it and even suggested on how it can grow out better. I had a horrible experience at this place. A guy named Lee was the one who cut my sons hair. Nice guy. I told him I wanted a combover for my son, well..He ruined my sons hairline. Now, my son has a huge gap on his hair line. I was so upset about it, he told me to not worry about it. I asked a younger barber if can try and fix his hair. Took my son to the back and sat him down, tried his best but there wasn't much he could do about it. I asked the younger barber how much and he replied "nothing." As I'm getting ready to leave, another man comes out and yells at me. Probably in his early 50s, has a beard, grey and black hair. He told me "it's $15 dollars." I said I wasn't going to pay him!!! mind you...Lee told him "it's okay, I told her to not worry about it" this man proceeds again and yells at me in front of my 5 year old son. "I don't care, you better pay him his $15 dollars." I looked at Lee and he again says "don't worry about it" another man gets involved, he was maybe in his 80s, Grey hair. And says "$15 dollars" straight to my face. I was so upset about the situation. I paid Lee his $15 dollars because I understand he needs to make a living too. But I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. They are so unprofessional and rude!! My son is taking pictures tomorrow for Kindergarten and now his hair cut is ruined. Horrible customer service!! read more
