I would like to give credit to the fry cook at Caldwell county jail for his mastery of frying a hush puppy. They were fantastic! In my time there I was very disappointed with the ambience. The servers did have better flair than Jennifer Aniston in office space but the decor was definitely a letdown. The host/hostess were definitely unfriendly as well. Probably will not return but had to give credit to the fry cook. Oh... one of the servers did spill an iced tea and waited 30 minutes to clean it up. Overall I would give 2.2 stars if that was an option but I decided to round up only because of the hush puppies. read more

At approx 12am today, deputies came to my home to conduct a wellness check. I have many illnesses and had missed my mother's calls and texts. She was worried. When I opened my door to them, they were courteous and professional. I apologized for missing her calls, their calls, and for their trip to my home. They could have told me to pay more attention, that I wasted their time, but they didnt. You helped my mom feel more secure in your response to my possible medical conditions. As I write this, the Deputies of this department are failing to protect me from an abusive property manager named James Williams at Beaver Dam RV Resort on 4889 US183N in Lockhart Texas. Though they know an eviction trial has been set, they just can't seem to get the manager to stay the hell away from me until the trial. On more than one occasion I have called because the manager chased me in his car. The last time the manager did this he claimed I was soliciting in violation of the park rules. I called 911 and Deputy Davenport (and I later found out his supervisor) responded. The Deputy spoke with me and asked what needed to be done. I explained the situation (including the soliciting claim) and informed him that James Williams, the manager of Beaver Dam RV Resort in Lockhart, Texas, needed to be told to avoid me at all costs until court. However, after speaking with Mr. Williams Deputy Davenport did not tell me he had informed Mr. Williams of that. Instead, he told me I was violating the park rules by soliciting. In addition, Deputy Davenport and his supervisor failed to act on a loose dog at the same time. Because of this, the owner did not take proper care and the dog got loose again when the owner was not home and it was taken by animal control. Worse, James Williams, the manager of Beaver Dam RV Resort, KNEW the dog was loose and did NOTHING to help the resident. This resident, like James Williams the manager of Beaver Dam RV Resort, left their dogs tied to their trailer unattended in violation of the park rules I was falsely accused of violating. Other deputies on other days have done marginally better or they would have only gotten one star. read more

I have never been to Caldwell County but Jay from the sheriffs department got shot in the vest, in his four head and the wrist by a junkie and survived. So thanks jay. I love the police keep up the good work. read more
