The lady on the phone said they are behind and she would have to call me back. She could not give me a timeframe. Then she informs me that we would need to see the house in person before we can get approved. I told her this was not possible since we currently live in a different state and we need a house secured before we move to our new duty station. She tells me there is no way around this and we cannot get the house until we see it in person, even though we are the only applicants on the property. I asked for our application fees back, which was $100 by the way, completely ridiculous. Big surprise, she says no. The money went to the company who did the background check and she cannot give it back. Not even half. This has been a complete waste of money and my time.. For a military town, you would think they would be more accommodating. Avoid this scam like the plague.
