BDBC are efficient and seemingly very well organised, the roads are well maintained, parks generally well kept, and if you call them asking them to get something done i.e. a street light replaced, they seem quick to respond. They seem to be working with local people rather than against them, housing is always a priority and BDBC always seem to be trying to develop local housing which encourages people to either stay local or move into the area thus aiding BDBC's economy. Ok, so more people need more jobs but by encouraging development they also seem to create more jobs. They are a fairly sensible council, and certainly seem popular with most of us younger generation.

He issues a demand in a rude manner and has a very definite lack of people skills. I will be using Goldsworth Park PO in future. Members can borrow up to a grand total of 20 books at a time; they'll even order-in your desired reading, at no charge. I was very impressed by the wide and appealing magazine selection which I could happily have spent ages browsing through. There's an excellent (although, sadly, under-used) child-friendly section with colourful chairs, toys and a play rug. In spite of its location - mere yards from a giant Tesco superstore - there was a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and super-helpful.
