When I pulled up and saw the circular hall, it all became clear! Spacious and well-kept, the hall is in good shape and looks to be home to a hub of different activities, like the Rhythm Cafe-live drumming and music the last Friday of every month. I like the circular setup of this hall better than your typical rectangular halls. It made for a good view of the stage from almost any angle. Acoustics for the show were clear, although I'm not sure if the hall came with a sound system or not. At any rate, it's a nice little spot for community events down in Inglewood.

The facility has been recently painted with contemporary colors and looks fresh and bright. They have five large windows that look over a beautiful patio area with a large gazebo, as well as a beautiful view of COP and the mountains. We had our daughter's wedding there this past weekend (August 2nd), and held the ceremony on the patio. It was perfect and the setting is breathtaking. The staff are absolutely amazing and very accommodating. There are round tables and chairs that seat 200 included with rental of the facility. The kitchen is large and can accommodate professional catering. We rented the hall for both Friday evening and all day Saturday and it was very reasonable. Check this place out and visualize all the possibilities you can for your wedding here. BTW, I've also used this facility for a children's Christmas party for a non profit organization and had the same wonderful experience!

The tennis courts and water park gets 4 stars (not even 5!). Today at Canada Day on Jul.01,2022 they gave my son 10 year old melted candy and we only got one tiny burger per person. This was actually the first time they did something about keeping the "uncouth" Harvest Hills and Coventry Hills folks off our community property. So for all their "savings" from keeping the heathens off our private property they were generous enough to hand out one free tiny hamburger per person this year after being closed for 2 years due to Covid. We in panorama deserve better than this BS! My question is: ".. I can't possibly be the only Panorama hills sucker to gratefully pay that $262.50 per year for nothing, basically!"

Personally, I think that's an outrageous fee, but seeing that no one has made a stink about it, that's the way it is. The park itself if lovely, I like the fact they have a kiddie water park, playground, sand pit and beach volleyball court but that's it. For a community as large as Panorama, the water park should be at least double the size it is now, because, come a hot day, good luck even finding a spot on the grass to sit. There is a huge green space that is rarely used and some free standing BBQ type things at the far end of the park, that I have never seen used. They get docked severe points in the rental facility though. For the past 2 years you CANNOT GET A SUNDAY BOOKING PRIOR TO 2:00PM. Why you might ask? Because a church group has pre-booked every Sunday! Is this fair you ask? Hell NO! I, like everyone else in Panorama Hills cannot pre-book a year in advance on a Sunday so why is it that a church group has priority? I can't anticipate that churchy is not paying for using this facility as you have to pay per hour. Also, you have to have a $250 cash deposit provided prior to your event that they hold until your function is completed. Now that the cat is out of the bag, I will be contacting the facility manager because I recently found this out whilst trying to book this venue for my kids birthday party, guess what? It has to be after 2:00pm, thanks churchy for f'ing up an entire day! If anyone sees this and is a Panorama Hills resident, please contact Scott Chesniak, the facility manager at the e-community centre directly and voice your concerns so everyone can have the same opportunity to use the facility. Large enough to have tables in the main area, and a dancing area in the other half. A useful-looking kitchen (oven, stovetop, refrigerator, lots of counter space) with a serving window to where the two halves meet. Good choice for a party where you arrange catering separately or don't need one.

It's well maintained, but due to the age of the building the look of things is a little dated. It has a full kitchen, though you may find a few things missing so best to check ahead of time what you may need to bring on your own. I'm not sure what the legal capacity is, but the hall can easily hold 150 people for a sit down dinner. There's also a dance floor area in the centre of the room. In one corner there's a projector mounted to the ceiling with a pull down screen, so no need to rent your own.

I call it a community hall because calling it the Varsity community building just doesn't have the same feel to it. If you're from a small town, the hall itself isn't so much what you'd expect. See, where I grew up, the community hall was a one room deal with a stage at the end. This one's got a multitude of rooms in different shapes and sizes that are used for a variety of different things (dance classes, Girl Guides and even a playschool). The hall is great (and cheap) for small group kind of rentals. Unlike your small town hall (big hall for the small town rather than the other way around), I don't think you'll want to be catering any big weddings here. But with a playground right outside, some field space, and easy accessibility just off Shaganappi Trail, you've got a solid venue for your event(s).

When I got there, I was a little bit confused by the architecture of the building and wasn't sure where I was supposed to go in. Finally, I made my way inside to what I believe to be the main floor. There wasn't a ton of space in here, but more than enough room to highlight some great vendors. I browsed some jams, rad terrariums, artwork, etc. I made my way upstairs, but again, the size of the building didn't allow for much capacity and I ended up feeling too close to strangers and left. Even though I once lived in Bridgeland, this is the first time I have visited this centre.
