We just completed our pool dives (Open Water Scuba) with Caribbean Dreams - the team here is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, personable, and SO flexible for the public to get their dives in within their means! They worked above and beyond to try to accommodate our dives before our travel plans, but Mother Nature prevailed and the lake surface froze (in the middle of November, go figure). These guys know their stuff, and they are incredibly passionate about sharing the underwater world with anyone interested. They also have lots of equipment ready for purchase, which is handy if you procrastinate like us; if it's not in stock, they easily make it available ASAP! Would highly recommend Caribbean Dreams Diving. read more

I highly caution anyone looking to purchase a Groupon with Caribbean Dreams Diving as they will take your money, but not commit to scheduling you into said purchase. In my opinion, it is a smart way to get your money and save on using oxygen tanks, personnel wages, rental of the venue for use of their pool, etc BUT it is just wrong. It is no different than robbing someone. read more

Excellent service, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Shirley was very helpful in helping us find the right fitting wetsuit, and took the time to explain to us how to fit a wetsuit properly. Would definitely recommend to others! read more

Do not go here to get BCA avalanche tanks filled. Apparently the only employee that is trained to do it works part time so that is really convenient. read more

Established in 2009.

We are Calgary's newest PADI dive centre. Originally located on 37th street in Calgary's south west, we moved to our current location September 1 of 2011. Caribbean Dreams Diving will endeavor to create a unique opportunity for all of our customers while they learn how to safely practice the sport of diving under the best possible conditions. I've popped into all of the scuba dive shops in Calgary, and by far the one that I felt provided me with the most trustworthy one-on-one service was Caribbean Dreams. That's not to say that I found any of the other shops not trustworthy, just that talking to Shirley and Jon at Caribbean Dreams was like talking to old friends. Their knowledge and attention to detail was excellent, and it is always entertaining and educational to pop in and talk shop with them. Now that my children are starting to show interest in the sport, I love that they have classes specifically for children. Another added bonus is their recent decision to start carrying stand-up paddle boards. I can see this as a big thing to hit the Calgary water sport scene and yet another reason for me to visit. Rather than going on the review of someone who deems them untrustworthy because they don't like the name of their shop, pop in and talk to the people at Caribbean Dreams. I'd be shocked if they can't answer any question you may have. read more

After visiting this store first, then going to the rest of the dive shops in Calgary for comparisons, I went back to Caribbean Dreams as they were by far the most friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is definitely going to be my dive shop in Calgary. Their prices were comparable to the other dive shops as well. I look at quality, customer service, and price combined... I found it all here. read more
