You should never go to this CC if you need a repair. The staff is completely disrespectful and not courteous or helpful AT ALL. It is really too bad as we have used and recommended this shop in the past. You wonder why car insurance is so much...go here and you will find out. We need to get a repair done and will be personally paying for it; when they are dealing with auto insurance and getting whatever fee they say, nothing is questioned. We question why we have 2.4 hours of labor and 2.1 hours of painting in a section of our car where there is not a mark??? You would have thought we were questioning the Pope on Catholism. I've left negative reviews before, and they responded asking me to email them so they can fix it, but when I email them, no one ever replies to my emails. They have had my car for 2 months. What are they doing? Joy riding with it? Every week they promise me my car by Friday, then on Friday message me "oh sorry, we need another week." Since no one answers email, here's the new game. I scheduled a collision car drop off via Allstate on Thursday night. I was told somebody from the shop would call me first thing in the morning to confirm drop off. 1:30pm, nobody had called. I called and they said, we can't take your car until next week. I asked for a manager to confirm findings as I was told otherwise by Allstate. Receptionist said, is it to confirm what I just said because he's going to tell you the same thing. I repeated myself and asked for a manager. In the back I heard an individual saying, "wow, that's ridiculous, tell her we don't want to deal with her." along with other very unprofessional things. I asked for his name and as he made up a very phony name, they both laughed ridiculing me. Wow, can't believe they are allowing immature, unprofessional children to run that place. Preliminary review.. just the experience I have with trying to get an estimate. Unfortunately, I experienced a hit and run incident while working. I was sent to try to get an estimate asap but due to work that didn't happen. I have to get one by Monday hopefully now or early next week. Coming from IL, estimates didn't require us to have specific insurance disclosed and because i wasn't sure my work company's insurance, Caliber staff said they could not do estimate/repair without it. Corey the assistant manager was very kind and helpful though. He did show us how to use the online estimate. He did look at my car and tell me possible work needed done and spoke to my father about it. He seemed very nice and straight forward and left a very positive impression on us regardless if we will be able to get my car fixed through Caliber. read more

Brought my car here after this idiot woman in a Range Rover decided to throw her car in reverse despite SEVERAL indicators on her vehicle and mind showing that there was a vehicle behind her. Damage was done to the front end of my car. I brought it in last week and just got it back today. My little lulu looks and drives like she's new! they even went so far as to clean my car out for me too and Q (I believe is her name?) walked me through the repairs done to my car. So glad to have brought my car here and so glad to have her back! Took my car here after an accident because it was closest. I definitely regret it. Took over 3 weeks just to tell me it was totaled when anyone could have looked at it and seen that within minutes. EDIT part two: After my last two reviews/updates, I am compelled to write another one. It seems that the corporate office of Caliber Collision monitors its social media posts. I know this because after I posted my review + update, I phoned the local office that did the work and they were aware of the theft via the corporate office. I realized it was partly my fault for not clearing out the coin drawer but I just did not think someone who actually take the entire contents of the drawer. The local manager assured me they had taken steps to make sure something like this never happens again and was surprised that it happened at all since the majority of the staff there were long-term employees. The local office kindly replaced the stolen coins (times five) via a Visa gift card which I completely appreciated. For this type of customer service, I am upping the Yelp rating to five stars. read more

From the moment I walked in the door, I had a feeling that this place wouldn't disappoint. I was greeted by smiling faces and it didn't take long to get my estimate. I had recently damaged my 2014 Toyota Corolla on a median in a storm and was all to eager to get my first car looking the way it did when I bought it. Being that my car was my only transportation for getting my four year old to school and myself to the train to get to work, they offered to drop me off at the train station the morning I left my car to be fixed. They even sent one of their staff to pick me up that evening when everything was completed. I am convinced that they are miracle workers because I fell in love with my car all over again! It literally was like the accident never happened. They detailed my car and returned it to the way it looked when I first bought it. I am truly grateful for the swift return of my car and the amazing experience provided by the individuals at this location. What an experience! I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Waited in an empty waiting room for Trey to check out my truck. I returned the following day to drop it off. "Kyle" did the walk around after he was instructed by Cassandra (receptionist) on the procedure. Kyle was less than 2 weeks into his new employment. All seemed well. The truck was ready earlier than promised. But, the wrong side was repaired. When I pointed this out to Trey he said they were not supposed to repair that side. So I asked about touch up paint to fix it myself if they weren't going to fix it. He suggested I purchase from the dealership. Unacceptable! Kyle insisted he marked the side I told him. Customer is not always right at this business. I had to contact my insurance to have the damage repaired AGAIN! Cassandra was rude and Kyle was unprofessional. Trey wasn't understanding but at least he didn't have a bad attitude. I thought at least the paint and body work was exceptional. But unfortunately there are runs in the paint job. Best place for car/truck repairs hands down .. I took my truck in for some repairs after a minor accident not realizing that I needed an appointment. I wasn't sure when I would be able to make it back up there, so they squeezed me in, just like that. I left my truck and within a few days, I got the call that it was ready. I received regular updates via text always followed up by a phone call from the repair tech. I have always had nothing but courteous and professional service whenever I visit this location. She expeditiously marked up the damage while I waited in the car and made me feel like I was their only customer. I was kept up to date on the progress of the repairs via daily text messages right around 9:00AM every day. On the day of the pick-up, she explained the bill thoroughly. I told her I wished I had a couple more crashed cars, just so I could deal with her! She was great to work with and wish I could give 10 stars!!! Never again, i had the hardest time getting a quote, including visits/calling. Then once I took off work to stay in their face til I would get my car looked at, I got a quote by eye from a visiting rep., and once I came back, a couple days later, with the cash to get my car fixed, then change the price and finally wouldn't fixed my car because they declared a total loss; which is was only a loss because they doubled the price and called it labor fee's; lol it's fine. Sent to Caliber Collision ("CC") by State Farm for estimate and ended up using them. I was at the Decatur location but my car was sent here since they had the availability to fix them quicker. Dropped it off on Friday, March 11, 2016. Picked it up on Friday, April 1, 2016. Three weeks for frontal damage. I was happy with the repair. Nothing bad, right? July 2016, I had a charge to my credit card from the car rental company, Enterprise. I asked them what is this charged since I already paid my part when I picked it up 4 months ago. They told me this is the portion that CC didn't pay. My car insurance rental payment max out after March 29, 2016. The guy that I was in contact with, Jose Gonzalez, told me that CC will take responsibility for any delay in getting the car to me before the max out date. I have proof of that. I contacted CC and was told Jose no longer work there. I was referred to the GM there, Travis Rushing. It is now August and he has done nothing. At first, he said they never receive a bill so Enterprise re-sent the bill. After I didn't hear anything from him, I contacted him and he said he didn't see any portion that CC supposed to pay. I sent him my copy of the receipt. I emailed him twice now to follow up and no response. This place never contact me to update on my car status and now this lingering payment. I was the only one constantly calling them and checking in on my car. Jose gave me several dates as to when the car would be complete and he missed all of them. That was why he offered to pay for any car rental cost that exceeded the insurance max out date to compensate. To me that was good customer service. Even though I was frustrated with how long it took to fix my car, but I don't have much complain since they did a good job on fixing it and taking responsibility for their delay. Now they are trying to NOT pay because the guy doesn't work there anymore (?) and how unresponsive Travis is to the situation, they have lost me as a future customer and more because I will tell everyone I know to NOT USE THEM anywhere. I had a comprehensive claim and my insurance company recommended Caliber for my repair work. I work in the insurance industry, and have for 10 years, but I didn't disclose this information initially. We also work with one of Caliber's shops in Decatur and they're great so I made the mistake of trusting this location. The repair work was simply my relatively new vehicle needing a new front bumper and I felt this repair was really simple so it would be quick and easy. FURTHEST THING FROM THE TRUTH. Let me start by saying that they completed the first repairs the week of thanksgiving and we are in February and my car still needs to go back a THIRD time to have the work corrected. They were nice.....I dropped my vehicle, provided the estimate and got my ECD. They called the day after thanksgiving (or close to it) to tell me the first bumper didn't fit so they ordered an OEM bumper. Cool. I receive a call that the car is ready on Tuesday, I think, so I went to pick up the car. It looked great initially but once I got close up on my car, there was a 1.5 inch gap between my front bumper and the headlight on the drivers side. I think they were hoping I didn't notice but I did. It was clearly a fit issue so I let them know and Martin advised they would come get the car the next day and fix it. I knew they citified not because the bumper did not fit but I allowed it. I still hadn't told them I work in insurance. They came to my job and got my vehicle and had the drivers bring it back to the shop, which was about 25 miles away. As promised, they brought it back the same day but they did not did the vehicle. At that point, I realized there was no way they used the OEM bumper because quite frankly, there would not have been that fit issue. I emailed and called to advise of my findings, disappointment and expectations. I told them at that point that my belief was that they were paid for the OEM bumper but tried to make the aftermarket fit. I advised they needed to correct the issue yet I was still patient because as a leader in insurance, I understand their challenges. This was a front bumper repair though. I also advised that they would not be coming to get my car a third time and driving it across town without putting gas in the vehicle and advised they needed to get it right this time because I'm not comfortable with the risk of their drivers operating my vehicle- especially because it was a couple of younger guys. The owner asked that I not complete the survey until after they got it right which was incredibly unprofessional and he even went as far as saying that him having someone else get my car should allow me to be able to say that I only had to bring the vehicle in once because I "technically" did. The third time, they put the OEM bumper on the car, the paint looked great and the fit was perfect. About a month later I had my car washed and my mobile detailer called me out to show me that the bump was literally peeling off the front bumper. I was pretty upset. He said they either didn't use the flex additive needed for plastic bumpers or they didn't prime it before painting it. I took pictures that day and emailed Martin. He said they would fix it and to just let him know when I can bring the vehicle back and they will handle it. For the record, Martin was consistent, courteous and professional. I had a diminished value claim with my insurance company, who also completely dropped thr ball, and they advised they could not process my claim because they are not showing I ever did repairs. They allege they called the shop several times for the imported estimate and have not received a response. This was in JANUARY! I finally became frustrated and did their job, facilitating a three way call. The young lady at the front desk is nice but she did not have a sense of urgency and did not display any empathy when I explained the situation. She essentially told me to leave a message and they will call back so I asked for the manager. MISTAKE. He would not really allow me to speak and kept trying to correct me when he didn't even hear what I was saying and he didn't realize I wasn't calling about the repairs (initially) or thstvthr ibdutsnce company was on the line until three minutes into the conversation when he finally allowed me to speak. It was at that time that I explained the reason for my call but also addressed the repairs. He quickly began throwing Martin under the bus, saying he needed less work if he could not handle it and that was never a statement I made. I honestly felt terrible for Martin that he had a "boss" like that who refused to address the real issue, which had NOTHING to do with Martin. He blamed Martin, then blamed Lexus for allegedly selling them a bumper that would not hold paint. He promised they would fix it because the insurance company was on the line and said they would get another bumper and call me to have it fixed once it arrived and was painted. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. One of the managers at this location saved me from a very bad purchase. I was buying a car for my daughter who just finished her freshman year in college. The vehicle had an accident listed on the Carfax so we decided to get it inspected. This manager (I won't use his name because I don't want him to got overwhelmed with requests) gave us a free inspection and valuable lesson in determining body damage. He showed us how to tell if certain parts of the vehicle had been repaired. We discovered that this vehicle had been in a front-end collision that was not reported on the Carfax! So Carfax is a good start, but it's not everything. Have your vehicle inspected by an expert or educate yourself on how to assess this kind of damage. Best of all, there was no charge for this service. What an honest and helpful experience! I live an hour away, but I will go to this Caliber Collision location to get body work done in the future.Companies and people like this make it a pleasure to do business.
