Been using California Carpet Care for years and have had nothing but great service. Earlier this year, we schedule Glenn to come out to our home to do some upholstery cleaning. However when he arrived our newly installed gate was locked and he could not have access to our property. Unfortunately he was nog not able to gain access to the property and had to cancel. When my wife originally booked this appointment, we anticipated us both being home. However, I was dispatched to fight fires in SoCal and my wife was left to deal with the family and home and the upholstery cleaning appointment fell through the cracks. As business owners, we understand that each and every job is important and understand how cancellations can affect businesses. We would've gladly paid a cancellation fee and actually expected to have one. Had I not been on fires the cancellation would've never taken place and I would like to know that we do not have a cancellation history. When my wife booked Glenn to come out, his booking company advised us that we were no longer fit for California Carpet Care. We were surprised and kind of shocked as Glenn was someone we referred often to many of our friends and clients and would've expected a phone call or text before he made the decision to no longer service us. Can't recommend more! I (mom of a newborn and toddler) messed up my appt date and moved all my furniture only to realize I was a week early. Not only we're they sympathetic w my mistake but they tried to get me in the same day. That didn't work but they called back and said they would be our first thing next morning. Glen arrived and still apologized for MY mistake on scheduling and did a fantastic job. I didn't even ask what the estimate was but I feel it as beyond reasonable. I was excited to get tile cleaning and sealant for my new home. I scheduled the treatment last week and eagerly awaited the tech's arrival. On the day of, they didn't show up. I called and Eve told me that because I hadn't given them a voice confirmation the day before that they "put my appointment in the trash." I apologized and requested that a note be added to my account to not cancel appointments with me because I'm terrible at returning voicemails but I would call if I needed to cancel. She sounded displeased, I gave her my partner's number as another point of contact and asked if they would still be able to do the treatment and that if they needed to reschedule that was also fine. Still sounding displeased she said she would call Glen, the owner, back and let me know. Eve then calls my partner's phone and tells him that I've been backlisted since I won't check my voicemails. Advice: you could simply tell your customers/patrons that you prefer a voice confirmation, just because I asked doesn't mean you couldn't tell me no. But to not even give me the option of saying that is unacceptable for you/your business and to proceed to then tell my partner that you've blacklisted me is really unnecessary. I'm sorry this wasn't communicated better but I'm very disappointed. Happy new year and hopefully you'll be able to improve your customer service. read more

The good the price was reasonable and the worker was friendly and polite. There was a improvement to my floors. The bad I waited a week for service and person was late. Worker showed up uncertain if they were there to give estimate or do the job. I informed them that I needed the job done. I think the worker was not scheduled well. They rushed to get the job done but it took longer than he expected and estimated to me. He then sent me a text to inform he was done and rushing off late to his next job. I raced home to try to catch him before he left. Just barely caught him as he was driving off. I asked him if there was anything I should know about the service. He replied no that everything came out great and my tiles would look better once the sealer dried. I payed then he rushed offed. I was a bit annoyed because he was just going to leave my home unlocked and unattended. I then went into my home and noticed many obvious missed spots in carpet, and tile. I also notice damaged base boards that were wet to the touch. There was small water and sealer puddles left on floors. I went back outside and noticed carpet fibers, debris, and goo in my driveway and landscape and that the sewer cap was not put back on all the way. I was disappointed with the job done, the quality in the work was not there. It was also very annoying to have to clean up after person and upsetting that parts of my home was damaged. All in all I feel a bit ripped off by California Carpet Care and that the services was a waste of my time and money. I will not be using them again or recommending them. read more

A technician by the name of Glen continued driving past my home and then took it upon himself to cancel a scheduled estimate appointment without as much as a courtesy call because he saw a competitors vehicle parked in front of my home. I assumed maybe he was running late and called to follow up with the company being the technician was close to half an hour late for the appointment, I was then informed he 'felt like he's going to move on'.
