It took three months to get someone to show up to fix them. The fix was so poor it was almost a waste of time. After spending thousands to upgrade my counters to granite, I am now looking for a more reputable granite supplier to fix my counter and finish the job. If you are looking for poor quality, workmanship, and customer service, Hyatt is your place. If you are looking for your money's worth, run, don't walk away from these crooks.

Manipulative, Dishonest and Unprofessional!…read more It is amazing that Jan and Rob are still in business. They don't stand by their contract unless it works to their advantage, they are manipulative and they lie. My mom tried to fire them one month into her project and they wouldn't let her out of their contract. Fast forward 2 months and they wouldn't honor the terms of their own contract because it benefited them financially. They are masterful manipulators and all their errors, mismeasurements and games caused undue stress, delayed the project and cost my mom more money. I could write pages and pages to explain the whole situation but I'll just focus on a couple of things. Here are two examples of how they blatantly lied: First situation - My mom was shopping around for hardwood. They wanted her to get it from their supplier. They were going to charge her $17,000. To make a long story short we found it at another supplier for $12,000. Jan and Rob lied to my mom and said that particular store didn't carry the floor she wanted. Not only did they carry it but they had it in stock. A blatant lie by Jan. This actually happened before my mom went into contract with them. This should have been enough of a red flag for her to walk away. Another situation - At the end of the project Jan asked my mom to pay 100% of the amount of her countertops up front. She said the countertop store required this due to the "downturn in the economy". I found this hard to believe so I called the store directly to ask them about their payment schedule. They said they require a 50% deposit and 50% after templating and installation. Jan's comment was a complete lie. Jan & Rob's contract also clearly states FULL payment required AFTER installation. However, Jan blatantly went against her own contract when she demanded FULL payment PRIOR to to the installation. Again another example of manipulation and bullying the customer. In the end Jan would not allow the countertop store to template my mom's counters until she had paid in full and in fact she told the countertop store that they weren't "allowed" to talk to my mom anymore. What kind of professional says this?? I would never recommend working with Jan and Rob under ANY circumstance. If you read through the other Houzz reviews you will notice that they have changed their name more than once. You'll also notice that Jan has written her own review acting as a customer, Janet Farnham. As soon as I post this she will probably delete it, so I will add a screen capture to my post for proof. I'll leave it to you, a potential customer, why would Jan write her own positive review about her own company? This tactic highlights her level of honesty. A simple renovation should never cause this much stress. The review from the person that had wallpapering done by Jan and Rob is spot on. Jan and Rob NEVER take responsibility for their mistakes. They always turn it around to blame everyone and everything else. From my understanding they are moving to Kelowna. They will probably change their name and try to start a new business. Do NOT hire them for ANYTHING!!!!

She was attentive and all ears as I told her our beautiful Canadel table was still not closing properly. She gave me Ron the Warehouse Managers direct number which I called the next day. We talked and I sent him our receipts and photo of the Canadel sticker under the table. He sent Jee to our home and by yesterday it was fixed! Jee had to come back with another young man, so this was a two day adventure BTW. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us! As new owners, I feared you'd tell me sorry, but no, you did not. This table was bought Nov. 2019, and the previous owners sent someone out May 2022, leaving replacement rails in case what he did didn't fix it. Now hopefully it has been rectified properly. I will feel very comfortable shopping at Cricklewood in future, as they are amazing all around! Thank you so much!
