I have to give them a low score and I am a Christian. Maybe to wake them up, since they never respond to any emails or requests for questions on BBT. Also, when we went to the church service, they had a missionary man, who had an alter-ego and basically talked about himself and needing money the whole sermon. He also make very rude comments on stage and was not a prepared, or holy man based on what we witnessed. We left early because it was that upsetting. All guest speakers/Preachers should be vetted very carefully by the Pastor himself before allowing anyone to give a talk in front of a congregation. Now, of course, I do not expect them to reply even to this low review, since that is the way its been in the past. One the most important aspects of gaining new members is an excellent follow up program, that is credible and reliable. read more

I've been attending here for over 20 years. Pastor is a great teacher easy to follow and sticks to the word. As far as political opinions go, Christians need to speak up, get involved and bring Truth in Love. We are to be salt and light to the world after all. Used to attend this church regularly before but stopped few years ago as Pastor Lloyd has no problem airing his political views from the pulpit, telling his congregation that CNN is fake news etc. I found that very inappropriate as he is a pastor and in his position as a leader, should not be repeating things being spread on social media and other sources! He is a pastor, not a politician and we as a congregation are there to learn from the Word of God and not be told about his political opinions. read more

I have been attending since I was 2 years old and have made more friends than I can count over the years. To me, the best thing about our church is the people. We aren't perfect by any means, but I can testify to the fact that there are many people that do their best to make people feel welcome into our big family. I am constantly trying to think of ways to do it better, but ultimately I have seen many get connected to God and His family over the years and I'm grateful to have the blessing of serving here. I visited on two occasions. I did some research online and discovered they had lots of programs for kids, etc. Having just moved to the area, i thought this would be a good fit. Whenever i visit a church, i "come as i am", because i want to be affiliated with a church that welcomes everyone. Simply put, i did not feel welcome there- at all. No greetings or acknowledgement from ANYONE- the ushers, the greeters, the pastor, the attendees. It was off putting. The pastors message was nice but was nothing out of the ordinary. There didnt seem to be a lot of diversity among the congregants. I found my church home, but may go back to visit CCOB and if my experience is better, i will amend this review. read more

I've visited Calvary Chapel several times over the years, and each time I received​ a message greatly needed and was spiritually fed by Pastor Lloyd or by the great speakers that often visit the church. The people are kind, the music is a blessing, and even the guys directing the traffic to assist parishioners to find a parking spot are awesome. When I don't get a chance to make it to the church, I really enjoy that I can watch the sermons online. I have never been disappointed. I am new to this church and I am in love!!!!!!! I used to travel all the way to north jersey to attend church. Don't get me wrong traveling isn't an issue but it becomes that more difficult to attend each week with 2 children hanging on your hip. I searched and searched for a new church home and was referred to this church by a good friend. Boy am I happy that she referred me to this church! The people at this church are very welcoming, and make you feel right at home! This church is very accommodating and they always have things going on for the children. This church is spiritual in every aspect and has strong belief in the bible and it word. If you live in this area and are in need of a new church home I would say come to this church. CCOB is not my home church, but we're involved in a lot of their activities. My daughter attends Calvary Christian School there (highly recommend) and also youth group. My wife and I attend one of CCOB's home Bible study groups. Pastor Lloyd is one of the best pastors around, rightly dividing the Word of God and the Bridge Radio station is an outreach ministry of CCOB on the brink of reaching millions of people with the Gospel when they extend into New York City later this year. This is my favorite place to fellowship with people, and learn the word of God. Pastor Lloyd is just simply amazing. My only regret when my wife and I moved is we're now simply too far away to regularly attend services. CCOB is simply the best.
