Cold, horrible tasting meals which I wouldn't even call meals! No good options either and the best you think taste horrible too! Can't even stand the food. This place is absolutely horrible and is not recommended. 1 star for sure. I don't recommend going at all and they can't even be bothered to make your bed for you either. All these hour lasting activities for hours. To tiring and as I said some dangerous activities, staff speak to you rudely and food. Hell no. Chefs also have an attitude and don't even ask what toppings you would want on something. DONT HAVE ANY GOOD FOODS. Total waste of money. Not to mention, a lot came with and I can tell this is just trash. Total TRASH. did I mention trash? Also, if you end up going and know what I mean just jump out the window and leave. Wall marks to it just keeps getting worse don't forget about the flood I told you about in one of the rooms. Squeaky beds, squeaky doors, horrible place. 1 second and you wanna leave. Waste of money as someone who stayed for more than a day.

Woooah this is SUCH a fun idea (although even a few days later I still have bruises and my muscles…read morestill ache a bit!!) I took part in the "ultimate wipeout course", but we saw signs for surf school, mounting biking, zorbing, laser tag ...and we walked past the "ultimate high course," although that looked pretty hideous to be honest!! For our course we had to turn up with bikinis and waterproof shoes, and they gave us wet suits, helmets and shorts to help us making it round safely. The staff showed us around the course once...and then let the speedy folks do a timed lap...while a few of us went around again at a more leisurely pace having extra giggles on all of the slides(!) The plunge pools after each slide are FREEZING and are all greeny-brown in colour but it is still really fun sliding into them and doing your best to zoom around all the obstacles and climbing sections. I wasn't keen on just how much cargo netting we had to climb along (I think most of my bruises were from that, and I did scrape off sections of my arms...oops...) The highlight is easily the giant balls that you have to bounce off into the plunge pools. I managed to bounce, flail, hit my head on the next ball and then pull off a spectacular belly flop onto my back. This makes it sound hideous, but it was soooo funny! I also LOVED the rocket launcher slide - Actually I really enjoyed all the slides. So yeah, if you are planning a hen/stag event or just want to have a giggle with your friends, this is a really fun option.

It has everything you could need. An example yoga it has six different yoga teachers at different times, styles and days the choice is exceptional I know because I go to most of the Yoga classes! Splashland is an indoor swimming pool situated inside the Trecco Bay holiday park…read more This is a fun pool, with most of the features mainly suiting children and families. It is very busy during the school holidays and summer. The pool operates on a timed slot basis, and you are given a coloured band which indicates the start and end time of your session. The pool has a decent waterslide, a children's pirate ship play area and a separate toddlers area. There is a jacuzzi type bubble area where you can sit/lie which is joined to the main pool. There are two swimming lanes - sometimes roped off and sometimes not - which are fine for some relaxing swimming - but due to the size and temparature (Very warm) of the pool they are not really suited to serious swimmers. You can sit and watch the swimmers in a seated area, and there is a good size changing village, including family size changing rooms. There are aqua aerobic classes available during the week.

What a day I have had!…read more I thought, the rain is pouring, wind is blowing like like an Indian Restaurant after vindaloo night, the perfect day for a trip to the beach! I arrived and parked in the car park behind Aldi's which reminded me I needed to hemeroid cream next Thursday. I called into "The Beachcomber" and I was a little disappointed it didn't sell combs. My hair had been blown all asunder in the wind (what a day to forget my seagul feather plumed hat!) The bar man was friendly and I enjoyed joking with him as I ordered a pint of Pinot Grigio. I drank the whole glass in one gulp my thirst was so severe. Very nice it was too. Hints of citrus, top notes of mint, dill and vine ripened grapes. And a wonderful overtone of cow pats and graveyard dirt. After finishing my pint, I walked down to the food vendors and came across Sinatra's. I ordered a bacon and cheese hotdog. Service was excellent except for the baboon who was doing unspeakable things with a banana (I saw his eyes, they had murder in them). They served me my hotdog and I filled a shotglass with mustard, before sitting down on the beach. This is where the real drama started. I was attacked by the SEAGULLS FROM HELL. MINIONS OF BEELZBUB. WINGED RAVEN OF THE DEVIL. TORIES!!! (Probably didn't help that I was wearing a coat made from bread and sing "Nom, nom, nom! Look at these buns!") No, this amusement park is more like a permanent fairground, with all the slightly dodgy looking rides (the sort you can pack up in the back of a lorry and drive to the next destination) and the slightly dodgy looking operators. This being said, you can still have a good time at Coney Beach, it's just going to be the kind of fun you get from eating too much candyfloss. The location is quite nice, with a large and popular beach and seafront just a hop skip and a jump away. There are also donkey rides available if you're into that kind of thing. It's something a bit different anyway.

I thought it was kind of charming - but perhaps not worth paying £12.00 a head for. The actual building is stunning from the outside and you cannot fault the views over the cove below. Inside the castle its been kitted out like a museum and is mostly home to toys, puppets, dolls and pier type animatronics and slot machines from yesteryear. Very interesting - but only enough to keep you occupied for an hour or so unles you are a fanatic. One whole room devoted to a large model railway- if you like that kind of thing. Also some grisly dungeons, and displays of old tools and farming appliances with some fairly educational information. Inside, and in fact then all the way around the park are amusement games and interactive displays which are made up from reconditioned old pier attractions. These are fascinating - but do be prepared with a ton of 1p- 10p coins to get them going - none of it is free! Outside there are a selection of childrens rides, again fairly traditional and slow paced - so more for the very young. Also there is gnome land which is bizarre, cute and disturbing in equal measures. There is a whole village of houses, pubs, etc,. where these gnomes live, and you can peer through the windows and observe them in their daily lives. Set in Woodland its very picturesque and mildly entertaining for adults - I am guessing young girls would enjoy this most. Hubby insists the gnomes were all models - but I am not sure!! Lots of traditional fun to be had also with crazy golf, a huge slide, and water fountains/ interactive displays. Not sure how you would fair in bad weather as most of the action was outside. If you prefer genteel and thought provoking rather than action-packed you may enjoy it here.

I took my daughters to Watermouth castle last year and they had a great time. There were plenty of…read moreactivities for them to get involved with. I found the prices fairly expensive as for a child over 14 years it is 12 pound so straight away that's 24 pound gone. My daughters got in for free so I suppose that was a good thing. My daughters favourite thing was when they were walking around part of the site where they had these little boxes where they had to press the button and when they did there favourite nursery rhymes played and little puppets inside moved. They were both racing to press the next one. They also enjoyed the water/light show I remember seeing this when I was younger. My favourite bit was watching them trying to find the golden nuggets amongst the sand. Other things that are at the site are: rides, tilting house for you to try and walk around in, old slot machines for you to play on, walk around the grounds, go through the gnome land and lots more, mini golf. Overall I would say this is a great place to go but I probably would only go there once a year.

A place to enjoy a lovely summers day. OK, it's not always summer, but all year round the Fields host events, games, strolling, walking the dog, sitting, general activity, meetings, in a beautiful setting bound along their far edge by the gurgling River Ogmore, which curves its way round under the steep wooded slopes of its furthest shore. Watch out for leaping fish, herons and kingfishers along its banks. Fish & chip shop on site, 5 mins walk to nearest pub & about 10 mins walk to the beach. Downside - quite exposed & can be very windy. Traffic in Braunton can be horrendous, both getting in & out - but there is a shortcut - study a local map before you go !!!
