We planned our wedding years ago and I gave a $1,050 deposit. COVID happened and the wedding had to be canceled. We tried to have it in 2021 but due to CA regulations we couldn't. Calvin and I tried to sort out a different photography event the months / years after. The timeline didn't workout and eventually I realized it wouldn't happen due to our conflicting schedules. I've reached out several times via text, email, and phone calls and l've been ignored. It's frustrating to have a thousand dollar deposit disappear due to circumstances out of both of our control. He did no work and just keeps a grand from us? Seems unfair. His photography is beautiful and I was excited for his work. Hiring someone to capture your most precious wedding moments is not an easy task, I spent some time looking at other photographers and kept coming back to Calvin's photos. My girl hired him for our wedding and for a photo shoot for her. Let me tell you, we have had to send every photo we wanted to a company to make them clear and visible as well as to try to enhance the faces. He took all the photos directly in the sun. Not a single photo came out that didn't have to get fixed. His shoot with my girl is so dark you cannot see her face in any. This guy is absolutely awful and charged a lot. Stay far away. If you look at his photos online, he strategically has none of our wedding cause they were so awful. Waste of money and memories we cannot re-create read more
