There was way too much sauce for the amount of pasta, and it had a very light and bright flavor, not terrible but definitely lacking depth and any nuances of aromatics or herbs. Their slices are the New York style, although the crust is a bit more dense than traditional NY style, but I liked the flavor enough to overlook that. The price is quite reasonable too. They also advertise smashburgers on their signage, so I didn't feel like it would be proper to not also get one of those as well on my third visit. I just ordered online and took it to-go, but I had the same problem with nobody really being at the window when I got there. Luckily someone must have seen me standing outside and told the person inside. The smashburger was decent, and the fries that came as a side were perfectly cooked - they are the battered homestyle fry variety, but not too greasy or oily. I think the food here is good, I just think the posted hours could use some clarity. We did an upgrade to cheesy garlic bread, they decided to charge use separately for it but didn't include the breadsticks that came with the original manger's special. At that point I was ok to pay the $58 because we're from out of town and the pizza was already ordered and made. At least give us 2 large pizza and not 2 medium or a discount. I asked them if they could give me a discount for the mistake and they made it seem like I was the hassle for their mistake with the bait and switch. In the end they gave me $5 off. Hand made dough daily, fresh produce, and halal meats. Out of the numerous pizzas I sampled my favorite one is the Chipotle Chicken After a couple days of attending the Yelp, I had to have a pie delivered. A word of caution for those who can't handle spicy, this pizza does have a kick to it! One of the reasons why it's my favorite! Service from the owner and staff is excellent! They do have two other locations in Hayward and Concord.
