I informed her that I had already replaced the passenger side bulb, and it must be reached from under the vehicle. Renee had an attitude that it was funny that the repair would cost much more than expected. 1/10 customer service from her. I was promptly introduced to Beth, who was with the Gortesma Motors body shop across the street. On the way to the body shop, I was told it was a common thing with these types of cars, and the same was needed to replace headlamp bulbs as well. I informed Beth I have already changed both headlamps on my vehicle, and no body work was needed. More false information. After Beth brought out a mechanic with an even worse attitude, I requested to speak to the service manager. I met with Joe, who stated that they do not want customers to feel this way when visiting the business and that he was "sorry I felt that way" Extremely unfriendly and dishonest environment for a first time customer. I contacted Lewiston Chevrolet Buick GMC 2301 3rd Ave N Lewiston, ID 83501 (208) 413-6393 and spoke with Rack in their service department. I was notified that the bulb replacement would only require $72 for 1/2 hour of labor to replace the bulb, and no appointment was needed. Highly recommended that you travel to Lewiston for your service needs. It may be a bit farther, but with this kind of difference in price and honesty it will be worth the drive and save you money and hassle.

When he first arrived (late), he was polite and friendly. However, once he had control of my vehicle, his entire demeanor changed. He suddenly dictated the price with no room for discussion. I had asked for a quote upfront. He said he needed to "figure it out," gave me an initial price, and then increased it by 40% with zero explanation. When I questioned the sudden jump, he became angry, turned himself into the victim, and began verbally abusing me for asking reasonable questions. What was supposed to be a simple thirty-minute tow ended up costing $30 per mile because he demanded it. This kind of predatory behavior is unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General's office.

They went out of their way to not only fix my truck within the budget of the insurance money, but they went out of their way to get manufacturer's parts rather than use cheap, foreign versions. They also washed and vacuumed my rig so it sparkled. Finally, they found some additional damage the appraiser had missed. The folks at Kennedy fixed that too and filed all the necessary paperwork, pictures, etc. so I didn't have to. I would recommend this body shop over any other I've had dealings with here.
