Tony and G got French dip. Haulinz and Bauby went salmon. Vance got the sienna stuck in the snow. We just missed him. Ok so went in recently. Go every month. Service is brutal. I'll be honest. Starts at the top. Must be horribly managed. The wait staff is clueless. Again that's correctable. So I went in the other night. (Saw a guy complaining on way out. First clue). I get seated maybe 7-8 tables so maybe 25 people dining. I order. Get salad before main dish. Waitress is talking to me. Has no concept that both water glasses are empty. I'm like do you notice anything? She is like no. I'm kind of thirsty. Oh I'll get you water. I kinda like remotely decent service. Now here's the kicker. I'm sitting there 25-30 minutes after ordering. I notice 7-8 other tables. People sitting. Nobody eating. Not one. I didn't see food brought out once in 30 minutes. Again. Was here for the $1.99 breakfast. You get two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. W also ended up getting a fruit plate and coffee. Everything was really good! The eggs were scrambled well- not burnt. Perfect bacon. Really good wheat toast. The fruit was so good! Ripe, sweet, and juicy. Really great way to start the day. The service was amazing! Not bad as casino food goes. Had the Prime Rib since it was Friday. Meat was ok but cut a bit thin for a 16oz slice and beware, there was at least 4-5 oz of fat which is the picture I took shows. Waiter says they are in process of changing meat supplier so this may be a moot point in the future. Good salad and the blue cheese dressing was better than most. The roasted squash was tasty and a large baker rounded out the meal. Since we are staying at the attached hotel, dining here was a step up from what I expected. Service is TERRIBLE. Still waiting for my entree. We have eaten here in the past and food is ok, but the service varies from horrible, to bad. I've never had good service. Luckily for them they're the only casino anywhere near here and I think people lack other options. Update: I received my steak 45 minutes later, and for some reason they still can't locate my husbands salad! A salad! We get up to leave, the table behind us asks if we ordered a salad, because she had it delivered on accident. Our waitress still doesn't seem to grasp the situation and goes to get her manager. She comes up, asks if she can fix it. No. We have run out of time with our babysitter and don't have time to sit around and wait. She can't do anything about my glass of wine. We had dinner here while staying in the RV park. We had the prime rib. It always a 12oz and seemed large for that. They also offer a 16oz so I was glad I didn't get that. It was $25 per plate but you also got veggies and a salad, plus a side so we did baked potato. We enjoyed it. read more

Top notch breakfast! We had the breakfast burrito and the basic breakfast with eggs, sausage and hash browns. The service was fast and very friendly. We are from out of town but if I ever went through here I would definitely come back. Prices are not to bad and the portion size is huge. read more

Came out to grab some dinner. After looking over the menu finally came to the decision to get the salmon dinner. After taking my order waitress comes back and tells me they have no more salmon available. So looked the menu over again and settled on the pork chop dinner. After waiting, finally get my dinner. After tasting the dry and nasty potatoes went for the unseasoned, no taste asparagus. Finally got into the pork chop and it was just ok, I can do a lot better at home. Customer service is everything!! We stayed at 12 tribes over the course of 3 nights and took advantage of Canvas both at the restaurant and room service. Our first night was a Thursday, we came to the restaurant around 6 pm and there were only about 3 tables, seated. We were brought to our tab;e by our hostess who was more than nice. Our server came to the table about 2 minutes later and said "are you ready" no introduction, asked if we had any questions, anything. Our water glasses weren't refilled a single time (they were both empty after 5 minutes) and after we asked for boxes we waited 25 minutes for our check. Now we were fresh out on vacation away from our kids so just happy to be out of the house or we wold have requested it sooner. I'm not really one that focuses on customer service much, but hers was extremely lacking. We ordered the artichoke dip as an appetizer which the flavor weirdly reminded me of pizza, I had the burger sliders which were unimpressive and extremely dry, and my wife ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and green beans. Let me tell you, if I could give that salmon 6 stars I would, it was amazing, everything else was not worth the price. We did order room service throughout the weekend which was ok, no need to deal with customer service. On our last day, Saturday, we sat down at Canvas again to take advantage of their rime rib special, turns out they don't start serving it until 4, my bad, but when I went back at 8 that night they had run out! Mamosas are not worth the price of $6 when it's all oj skimpy champagne and not even half a glass full. Food is ok...would only come for special dinners or brunches like Mother's Day when they have extra food choices. We have found The Camas to be an unexpected jewel of a restaurant in Omak. We have had both breakfast & dinner here numerous times and have always gotten great food, at reasonable prices with nothing less than excellent service. We make a point to dine at the Camas whenever we visit the Okanogan area. read more

The last two times we have been there were on special occasions--last Mother's Day for their brunch and last night for the Valentine's dinner. Both times they were packed with people waiting. They were seriously understaffed and extremely slow. The hostess was taking names, seating customers, cashing out customers, and busing tables, and I could only see two servers. Our initial wait time was supposed to be 15 minutes--that turned into 40 minutes and then we were told we could eat in the bar, which is where we headed. At that time we were told they were out of prime rib and this is only 1-hour and 45 minutes into their serving time . . . and we could expect to wait about another 45 minutes for food. Out the door we went. Last Mother's Day was a similar situation where we waited for about an hour and then were told we could eat in the bar--same situation with the hostess--she was overwhelmed. We did eat that time because it was a buffet. We have eaten there several other times on normal days. Got right in and the food was good. Food was mixed at Sunday brunch. The made to order omelette was good, but no salmon offered as promised on the website, but he did go and get some. No fruit for most of the time we were there. Hot food was ok. My wife ordered a pancake and it didn't arrive. I eventually asked and was told it was now being cooked. My wife couldn't eat it all and asked for a box which never came. I had asked for ketchup when I ordered coffee, and had to ask again. The pepper shaker didn't work very well and no salt (not that I needed it). My water was never refilled, nor was I offered more coffee. No bill by the time we left. The service was friendly, but poor as we had to ask multiple times or we just gave up. read more

Okay. I don't know about you, but I've been to Vegas and been to a buffet and several casinos, They have nothing on this place. We went to the all you can eat breakfast and it was amazing. They custom cook items for you and the service was fantastic. The restaurant has plenty of windows, so you don't feel like you're in a casino. The quality was really good as well. I only come out to Omak once a year, but I wish I could go back just for the breakfast! read more

Dinner was average at best. We ordered food on a Saturday at around 7:45pm and it is now almost 10pm and not everyone has eaten. We asked for drinks and they never came and we asked for management and they could not find them. This was one of the worst experiences for a steak house. I would not recommend coming here.
