An excellent student-run theatre, the quality of shows put on is exceptional. A variety of…read moremusicals, plays, dance and comedy make a jam-packed line up each term. Cabaret bar nights are also well worth attending. The effort put into the productions is impressive - and don't forget that the likes of Steven Fry and John Cleese trod the boards of this theatre many years ago, before moving on to stardom. The tickets are very reasonably priced as well - much cheaper than a professional theatre, and often just as good quality. What's more, the atmosphere of the theatre is always electric, with friends and family support the casts each night there is always a buzz when the curtain goes up, and ruptures of applause when it falls on the final scene. Well worth catching are the 'Smokers' each Tuesday, where budding young comics stand up and take the mike, for a late night comedy show. A few glasses of wine beforehand help the laughter flow! With a cheap bar and high quality shows, the ADC can provide an excellent and memorable night out. Well worth a visit.

The food is lovely they have a tapas menu which allows you to try many dishes that you would not normally try and if you dont like it you can easily move on to the next one. The music gives you a wide range of choice some nights the small dancing place will be packed with customers dancing the night away to the big bass sounds and other nights jazz is on the menu allowing everyone to tap away at their table to the dulcit tones. The decor is another plus for me its stylish, dark, and romantic a place where you can easily lose track of time and stumble upstairs as its getting light.

Due to the centre being very busy pre-Christmas, my mum and I also decided to get lunch at the bar on the mezzanine level. Most tables were taken - think yummy mummys and groups avoiding the high street chains - but we managed to grab one of the last between us. The menu isn't very lunch light so don't expect sandwiches and the like but I would fully recommend the delicious coq au vin. Tender chicken on the bone doused in rich gravy, perfect! Especially when you add a side of salty fries and wash it down with a glass of white wine. One of the better cinema experiences I've had and one I am jealous I cannot recreate more often.

Was a bit worried that we weren't going to see the screen very well because we were in the second row, but the chairs reclined back enough so that it didn't really matter where you were sitting in the theater. You can definitely comfortably see the whole screen wherever you are sitting. Here are some of my observations: - The food here, like any other movie theater, is insanely expensive. A popcorn and slushie was £12 which was quite ridiculous given that you can get that for under £3 at a supermarket. I will say that the slushie was quite good but the popcorn was flavorless. But then again, its Europe and people are a little bit more health conscious with how much sugar and salt food items have. - I don't think they care very much if you bring your own food into the theater. Only thing is that they don't have utensils, so just be a bit mindful of that. - While the end credits are rolling, the theater doesn't turn its lights on. Overall, great experience at Vue even though the food is super expensive. Next time, I will just bring my own into the theater.

I suppose that's how they manage to charge more for different seats. Beware: if you choose the cheapest seats, you may not be able to squeeze your legs in! Upon discovering the terrible seats most of us chose, many people moved themselves to better seating resulting in the first 20 minutes of the movie being filled with arguing from late comers finding their assigned seats filled. Other than that, it was your usual mediocre popcorn and sticky floor kinda place.

They have classes of two hours each Friday teaching new york style salsa and occasionally bachata; classes are "drop-in" which means that you can come whenever you please according to your interest and availability; there are four-five different levels, so you don't need to worry too much about staying with people too much more experienced than you. The teachers are professional, kind, and passionate in explaining you the steps and giving some personalized advice when it's the case. The price (8 pounds) includes the access to the dancing floor until 1am after the classes; there is always a lot of people so it's relatively easy to find someone at your level to dance with. When my friends asked me to go out on Friday I always replied them: "Sorry guys, let's do it on Saturday, I have salsa tonight!".
