They cleaned up everything as they worked. The owner came out to give us a price, and that was exactly how much the roof cost. We've had 2 very severe storms since our roof was put on with heavy wind and rain, and we've had no problems with leaks or anything coming lose after a month. I would highly recommend Amos to anyone who asked for a roofer. It was truly a blessing we found his number because he was very reasonable compared to other companies and the workmanship was high quality.

After I called he company office, they agreed to have the workers clean up the mess. They halfway wiped off the counters with a damp cloth and left the floor tore up as they were to return the next day to finish. I had to buy and lay plastic down so we could walk through the kitchen. Despite all of this, the kicker was that they just let themselves into my house! If they knocked, my dog and I didn't hear them and I came around the corner to a strange man standing in my hallway. They only reason I knew who it was, was because I looked out the window and saw their truck. Very disappointed!!! Ok since James really wants me to take down this review, let me say that I absolutely have reviewed the correct company. I moved from Youngstown to Oakland Blvd in good, old Cambridge OH. But I will add that it's a great company if you're a landlord and want a half assed, cheap floor job done... which is probably why they let themselves in, because they frequently do work for my landlord.

The residents are very friendly and pleasant. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and lighted well and tastefully at night. If you want to feel like you are being babysat this is your place. The management ride around on their golf carts constantly counting the amount of items on and in front of your porch. They will go on your porch and remove items that they feel aren't in compliance with their over the top rules. For instance one of our neighbors had a clock hanging on their porch. The management went onto their porch and took the clock down. In the process they broke the clock. Mind you, these are elderly people that spend the entire summer on their porch being amazing neighbors. If they thought you were "out of compliance" they would put a pink post it note on your door telling you all the things they didn't like. They would literally move things sitting in your flowerbed. When we moved in we were told to make the place feel like our own because they wanted us to stay for a long time but they did everything to make us know that we didn't own this home. Living there feels like you are a child with a babysitter instead of being treated like the adults we are. I didn't realize how bad it was until we moved out. We had an issue with the drywall in garage and the over confident maintenance man "fixed" it. The drywall was crumbling at the seam on the ceiling and we called to have it fixed. The maintenance mane scraped the seam, primed and painted it. Although he painted it the wrong color. The ceiling was white and he painted it a light tan color. When I confronted him about the color he argued that the front of the can said it was white. It obviously was NOT white! I gave hime the opportunity to fix it but he wanted to argue with me that he was right. I took a video of the ceiling and sent it to the office staff. I was told that they would forward the video to the corporate office for review. I received an email back to let me know that we wouldn't be held accountable for it. Well I would think not! The appliances and flooring in the apartment are subpar at best. They are the cheapest appliances that they won't replace when they need to be. They repair and repair and repair them. While we lived there our dishwasher was repaired 5 times. Four of them were door latches just to keep the door closed through an entire wash cycle. Oh the flooring. It was the cheapest carpet that they could find and they would only change it our every 7 years when it needed to be changed out every 3-4 years. A neighbor had an issue with her carpet and they cut a square of the carpet out and patched it with carpet that didn't even match. It looked so bad that she had to put a rug over it and they told her she just had to live with it. There was nothing else they could do. The washer and dryer were tiny and needed constant repair. The bearings went out of them all the time and they would bounce all over the floor during a cycle to the point that I would lay on top of the washer so it wouldn't beat the walls to death. Another neighbor that lived in a larger apartment found herself in a place where she needed to downsize. They inspected her apartment and charged her for melted siding that was melted when she moved in. She was also charged for painting the garage that wasn't painted when she move in. The trash compactor is always full, jammed to the point that you can't get your trash in it and it ends up sitting on the sidewalk all weekend while they knew it need attention before the end of business on Friday. We would receive an email stating that we needed to keep our trash in our garage until the compactor was repaired. There were times that it took weeks to repair the compactor. The rent is outrageous and goes up yearly! But it has a pool. I guess that makes up for the rent going up $50-$100 per year. All in all they neighbors are AMAZING but everything else about this place was awful!
