"If you don't bring your account current, the mortgage company will start the foreclosure process" instead of "here's what this means, here are your options and here's what happens if you do a,b or c" After the initial meeting where she was hired, she was not an ally in the process - she essentially filled out and filed paperwork. She did not showcase experience on what could, is likely or might happen. It was like talking to a government employee - does the bare minimum and can't answer questions because of laziness/incompetence/personal life that's masked as legal liability. I honestly learned more on Reddit forums and was forced to do so because she often shifted the onus by asking "Do you have any questions?" Uh, No, there are no questions because I have no idea what is going to happen - that's why I hired you!!! In summary - if you need something more than paperwork filed, I hope you learn from my experience and hire a different attorney.
