The owner is very easy going and may give you a great deal like he gave me! The shop offers quality leather and fur clothing, as well as bags, belts, gloves, and other accessories! Silvia arrived shortly after we did and she personally picked out a leather jacket that I LOVED and took my measurements! They do offer shipping to the US for about $50. If you are in Buenos Aires and looking for quality leather goods or you want something custom, this is the place to visit. They also have a variety of furs and the chinchilla is beyond fabulous!

Each one has different variations and styles. We were looking for two specific bags and found it at one of the three stores. Tip: If you are a foreigner they will give you close to 20% off the price by asking for a discount. However, they will require you to pay in local currency. Secondly, you will not be eligible to collect vat at the airport. I would definitely recommend their boutiques to anyone. Great service, and they do speak English just ask!

Well, Curt C has to shop at Curtiembre! This shop sells…read moresome leather! There's more cows than people in Argentina, and all that leather goes to good use. They sell a bunch of really cool, rustic and durable leather goods here. Their wallets, purses, backpacks, duffels, and other leather goods are all good stuff. I love the smell of this shop- take in all that leather. They have such a variety. The shop isn't the biggest, and they keep things on the wall, but they'll come help with a long pole to take things down to take a closer look. Prices were good, considering the quality of the craftsmanship. Most of the stuff is pretty rugged and durable looking, good for the Pampa, but not overly ornate. If you ask, they give a cash discount. The store's name sounds as if Argentina finally got their act together and named a month after its favorite Yelper, Curt C. Thus, Curtiembre was born.
