They did not like the quote on 900$ from my irrigation company to come dig and replace the power line and they have yet to come fix it themselves. I reached out on June 2 to let them know and they still haven't been out to fix it. He also argued with me that his guys didn't hit the power line. I know they did. They dug all my yard up to sod. It's been a lot of me trying to chase them down to fix what they broke.Im still waiting today and keep getting "we are too busy"- when you break something you should make it a priority to fix it... so now I'm out 900$ to fix the irrigation power line they hit bc they won't get it handled in a timely manner and I need my irrigation up and running.

Jose and his team dug up and removed all of the dead and damaged shrubs and bushes and then cleaned the flower beds and planted new azaleas, hostas, pencil shrubs and other plants. They then mulched all of the beds and cleaned the area. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the results. I purchased a full pallet (loaded quickly on my truck) & I ended up sharing much of it with friends. The oak wood burned nicely -VERY HOT & LONG! If I were picky, I'd have 2 gripes: * Firewood is ~19" long (My wood burning stove is 18" inside -so I had to cut some or insert diagonally -not ideal). * Their office is open for firewood pickup only M-F until 04:00pm & they tell me that they no longer deliver. But I was able to sneak away from work to pickup & the wood is great! (My friends think so too!)

Second quote was a professional company that markets either by the Val-park or monthly coupon magazine (can't remember which) and their guy said the tree was just too big and needed to come down. They offered a price for trimming and haul away, but it was $1000 more than woodland. The comparably higher price and convincing story about cutting the tree down caused me to pause and have a follow up call with JD. He was pretty patient walking through his logic which started with, "it's a healthy tree with zero evidence of infestation of rot". He then explained how there was a need for a lot of 'cleaning out' of the canopy where main branches grew secondary limbs that had more growth and then dozens of smaller branches. "Air can't flow through, and that's what we'll do". The quote was well done, they arrived on time when promised, and cleaned up very well.

Longer review: Al Cooper (owner) personally responded to my call to get a quote for paving a LONG driveway in the country. He came out to look at the project, even though it was a 100 mile drive for him (one way). That impressed me. We talked details of the project, and he quickly provided a quote. He answered my questions. He kept me informed about when we might be able to get started. It was winter and the weather had to cooperate. So did the the local asphalt mixing company since I am too far from Memphis to use his normal supplier. When the weather finally warmed up, Al called and informed me of our start date. He laid out the plan and expected completion date, too. On the start date, he showed up with his team and got started right away. They worked hard and got it ALL done ahead of schedule and it was great. What was once gravel, potholes, and dirt was now well laid pavement. I am a happy customer. Al was always honest with me and never tried to 'bump' his quote or add to the price, as some folks tend to do. What he quoted me was what it cost. Al also personally supervised the work the entire time, start to finish. That is rare but much appreciated. He was refreshing to work with and I'm grateful.
