They love it there and have made friends that I am sure will last for a lifetime. I'm sitting down with my morning coffee, ready to open up the camp's daily blog and photos. I get to see all of the fun they are having and feel good knowing they are being happy and carefree. There are NO PHONES at this camp, and that alone is worth every penny. My sons get to be outdoors, play sports, make friends, and get their childhoods back in a phone free, social media free, good old-fashioned summer. I miss my kids all summer, but Green Lane and their amazing staff are giving my kids memories of a lifetime. Rather than feeling welcomed, our children often feel anxious or ignored, which is heartbreaking when church should be a safe and uplifting place for them to grow in faith. We believe children deserve kindness, understanding, and encouragement -- especially in a church setting. It's disheartening to see such a missed opportunity to foster positive, Christ-like guidance for the next generation. In other words, there's something for every kid. (All staff is is certified in First Aid and at least one who is on campus at all times is certified in CPR.)
