I started attending this camp when I was 8 or 9 years old, and continued to go there every summer either as a camper or as part of their staff (Cook, Maintenance, Counselor) for the next dozen years. It is a wonderful place to visit, to learn about God, to have fun being a kid without the trappings of electronic devices, and to make new friends. Special things I enjoyed were canoeing in the pond, sleeping overnight in the caboose, the nearly daily campfires, and playing sports. Some of the happiest memories in my life were at this camp as a child. They have certain weeks devoted to different age groups (pre-teens, teens, older youth), family weekends, and weekends devoted to certain activities (art, horseback riding, etc.) They have a ropes course, an archery range, a rifle range, a pool, and a corral with horses. read more

I grew up going to this camp, dedicated my life to Christ there, and recently got married there. This is a wonderful place to send your child (or even go yourself if the opportunity presents itself). It's a family oriented camp that teaches the Word of God in one of the most beautiful spots on earth. Some of my fondest childhood memories were built there. :) read more
