Recently I attempted to arrange a pick up for a large donation - new dining room set. Originally…read morepaid $2,200.00 for it. I called in an attempt to set appointment and call was never returned as promised. When I call again,3 days later, the same woman gave me a hard time and hung up on me. I called back and asked her to get the manager (at this point very aggravated at the treatment). I made the mistake of referring to her as a "bi**h", at that point the manager did not want to hear what happened, he just copped an attitude and hung up. This is supposed to be such a Christian organization, and yet they are so judgmental. They should be happy with such a donation, I was using them for about 12 years. This is a sad situation, when the director and the manager can cast judgement. They could have said, please do not use such language and gone about it, but cast judgement. At that point I canceled my donation. There are to many organizations today that appreciate donations, and are true Christians. Please support other organizations that appreciate your donations and do not judge you for who you are.

It was large and organized and the prices were very, very reasonable. They have clothes but they also have bric a brac -- including a separate room for glassware; They have tools and related items in a separate area called the man cave; a separate section marked kids; a room with books and records... and artwork and more kitchen stuff and china, et al around the perimeter. Add in the shoes and some furniture plus the jewelry by the checkout counter.... And it's a full merchandise store. Their monies go to helping seniors and for elderly care (and their caregivers) in the area. So it's a good cause. As I said, prices are such that I can't imagine you won't find at least a little something to purchase here.

Worried about rain for your ten-year family reunion; you're covered. You get the idea. Recently remodeled it can handle up to 240 folks. If needed it has a giant kitchen. His and hers bathrooms. Easy access and decent parking. The staff will handle table and chair setup to meet your needs. For a couple of hundred bucks plus a security deposit you'll have a turn-key facility that's darn nice. Note that if you are going to serve alcohol the security deposit will be increased in case you get all wild and crazy! I've been to a couple of functions here and have learned to appreciate how valuable a place like this can be!
