Crack in the sink…read more Other room the telephone cable was disconnected and the kids didn't realise so couldn't contact them for their early morning call. Found out that breakfast was not included, as it happened, we couldn't wait. €17 per person seems quite excessive. Regarding the iron, fortunately, we had our own. Wrong advice about local restaurants. Told to travel into Bordeaux with a taxi price tag of €30, one way (no mention of the tram). Google helped with a streak house in walking distance. The bar area was unlit and mainly unstaffed. Tried my best with French and also used a translator. Just found it in unfriendly. Bear in mind that the restaurant isn't open at weekends. The public toilets on the ground floor had a terrible smell of urine. So strong, I couldn't use. Used the one for the disabled which was fine. Back to the room and the shower lacked a good pressure. Towels were flimsy. NOTE: These were allegedly executive rooms. Altogether, not good. I won't return.

First of all to put this review into context. The accommodation is cheap and very convenient for…read morethe hospital perigrin, free parking and at a tram stop on main line. The room i was in was very average but did the job. Bed was comfortable with enough pillows and clean sheets. Blanket on a bed is a bit old fashioned and very hard to clean for every guest i would imagine. The bathroom was a disgrace with a cubical shower sat inside an old shower tray. As i say useable convenient room. The whole of the building however smells horrible. The breakfasts and evening meals are included but this is in my opinion not a bonus. The evening menu is about 20 years out of touch and not very appealing. I have not eaten in the evening. Breakfast however is basically orange juice, tea, coffee, sliced baguette and hot chocolate. Jam and butter if lucky. You will have to join the que to wash up and put away your own pots. Don't be late as the staff get very hostile.!!! As a foreigner living in France i found this place very unwelcoming.
