This is a small and intimate venue, with a holding area that is perfect to enjoy an aperitif before stepping up a few stairs into the main restaurant to eat. This is by no means cheap and cheerful (although a set lunch at £9.95 for 2 courses is offered - a bargain). It is ideal for a very special meal and has a lovely atmosphere, excellent service and (when I was there last) divine food!

Sadly no toast or drink were included in that price, which was £5.95 The service was extremely quick, and the food arrived hot and a full plate, and it went down very well. Drakes is only a small place, tucked out of the way, but appears popular with the amount of visitors in the time we were there. There was 6 of us, and they could just accommodate us, but not a place for large groups. If you like your cooked breakfasts, then its worth a visit.
