Nothing ever prepared me for the rope course in Campuestohan.
After graduation, I was flown over to Bacolod with my best friend, Jani, to visit my aunt and my cousin, Megan. Every time Megan would ask Jani and I what we wanted to do, I'd always say, "Visit The Ruins, buy Inasal and eat lots of food." Megan wasn't satisfied with that answer and took us to Campuestohan.
At first glance, this place looks like any ordinary resort you'd see in Manila. You look around and you'll see swimming pools, a little petting zoo and huts you can rent for the day and rooms you can rent for a day or two. Then, you look up and you realize that's where all the fun is!
There's a zip line! There's a cable hamster ride! There's a sky bicycle! And then there's the rope course. If there's any activity that you must try, it's the rope course. Go with lots of friends and do this together. I promise you, it will do wonders for your friendship and you'll have many fun stories to tell about it. Also, you earn bragging rights when you are able to go through the twenty one "trials" this rope course has.
Some tips though. Reserve at least three days before. You can bring your own food as long as you stay in the picnic cottages. They say that you cannot bring pets, but many people brought their dogs. I don't really recommend swimming in the pools. Stick to the other activities and prepare to get really tired. Don't worry, there's a spa and a restaurant here. read more
