I can see why this place is a 5 star classic. Despite being in a relatively touristy location in…read morethe old town gothic quarter, this small unassuming shop is widely popular with lines a common sight. However the menu is simple and like moves quickly. There are a few counter seats or take it to go. The star are the churros and hot chocolate. Churros are made fresh- you can watch them make it through the window. Simple without any sugar or cinnamon, yet fresh , delicious and airy. The chocolate is thick , decadent , and perfect for dipping. You can also try adding milk but I prefer the chocolate without any additions. Cost is 5.2 euro for plate or churros and cup of chocolate. I've tried some other churro spots but I keep coming back here every time I'm in Barcelona!
