Staying here was a pleasant surprise. There are some shortcomings but a great deal for our family…read moreof 5. Two rooms of course. The location is phenomenal. The beach across the street is t a big deal in fact most hotels, even some 5 star hotels are across the street from the beach because the beach is public here. We stayed in the apartments which is great for families. The breakfast is great because the choices are many and the cost is more than comparable. And you don't even go out. The hotel has parking if you rent a car. The pool is nice and they have a restaurant near the pool With a bar. The staff at the bar and the regular restaurant and particularly the front desk are extremely nice. Specially Aurelie. The housekeeping is great and leave your room smelling like a Forrest of flowers. The dinner was also great. I found it to be good in price as well as varied in options and great in taste. They have a small golf put put and ping pong tables. They have a spa. The rooms are super spacious in the apartments. By the way the staff not only spoke Spanish but fluent English and I heard them speak in French. I also heard some German- this is filled with Germans. It's close for them. The cons: the elevators are crappy small! No really ridiculous.there is no valet and They have no luggage carts at All! Really! The close the pool Early in evening and the outside bathrooms and showers so when you come back from the beach and are sandy you tread through the hotel and to your room! That's just dumb. Everything has a deposit. In cash. So if you want beach towels the there's a deposit. If you want ping pong or golf there is a deposit. The dinner is 25 euros but drinks cost extra. Really even water. That's just whatever. Either you have an all included or not. Super quiet. No noise all views look nice. I didn't give this place 5 stars because of stupid stuff they can easily fix. Get some luggage carts. Don't close the bathrooms and the showers at the pool till at least 9 pm. Don't charge for water or at least include one water bottle per person with dinner. Charge the deposits if you must to the rooms. People don't like walking around with wads of cash anymore. Super simple.

Incredible vacation in Mallorca thanks to our centrally located Cala Pi stay!…read more This resort-style, apartment rental complex, is the perfect spot for a pretty cheap stay at one of the most gorgeous locations in the island with beautiful surroundings. While the apartment we had was pretty outdated, door locks didn't work, layout was kind of funky, we had a great sleep (even in the sofa couch that opens up to a sleeper for two), our stay at Ona Cala Pi Club was awesome. Check in was a breeze, they even updated our room for an apartment with an extra half bathroom and a terrace/back area opening up to a bigger area with views to the pool and gorgeous beach and skittles sunset. The property and the amenities are extremely convenient. When you check in, you only get one key but can get additional keys (only set back is if you loose a key you get charged like €50). Towels are available for like €13 for the week as well as 3 day and 7 day breakfast buffet options at an extremely reasonable price. There are two pools, an adult one and a more of a kiddie one. There's a bubbling jacuzzi but it somehow didn't heat up at all (at least during our stay). With lay down chairs and lots of umbrellas, there are so many options and locations to relax, read a book, sunbathe or take a mean nap. While it's inconvenient to have a curfew for talking, washing, music, etc, it's super considerate for others so no one has to sit there and complain or not be able to get a good nights rest. The resort style apartments are visited by so many friendly tourists, families, older folks, etc - so it for sure calls for a pretty chill stay. Around the property at a walking distance there are little gift shops, beach shops and a super convenient market that sells all your quick needs as well as fresh baked breads and croissants with easy access cafes for coffee and more. Overall, wish there was a bit more love inside of the room but other than that the cleanliness was a 10/10 and the hospitality was extremely kind. The best part is that gorgeous beach located in property that's just about 150 steps. Super easy walk down and up. For sure a great place to stay at and centrally located. Having a convenient quick drive to the airport and Palma it's for sure a great spot to stay at to be able to explore everything Mallorca has to offer. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Ona Cala Pi Club that made this all amazing for us!

Not much choices and nothing seemed fresh except the fruits. I spotted a fly in the eggs. I opted out of breakfast after that. I didn't use the hotel pool, who would when there's a beach right in front? Wasn't a fan of the tv. luckily I speak Spanish cause everything was dubbed. Much prefer Alcúdia In opposition to playa de Palma. It seems like I was in Germany coz everything was in German and Spanish and there was so many young Germans in town getting drunk it was so hard to enjoy the beach they kept blasting loud ass music and I could even hear it in my room!! I even witnessed a drunken fight.

Yes, the taxi driver will have a small issue getting you here, since they can't drive up the very narrow alley where it's located. My stay was very comfortable and for a "single use room," roomy enough for me. The platform bed was a little firm and the shower was a little small, but I really did not spend much time in the room after sleeping fourteen hours following my travel from the States to here. This is a full service hotel with a restaurant, coffee bar, room service, fitness center and wifi that worked very well. There was even a free mobile phone for me to use in the room. (They probably should disable its wifi hotspot feature, but hey, it worked great!) The only complaint that I can offer is that my room on the fourth floor ("third floor" in European count) did not have elevator service. That may be an issue for some if you're stairs-challenged. As well, some street noise but nothing that got through my earplugs. I would absolutely stay here again when I return to Palma.

The moment she saw that we were American and had American passports they repeated over and over again the price they were giving us. We said okay well sleep here for the night and see where we could change our hotel to the next day. She said that's impossible and that we had to pay upfront the entire amount and threatened to call the police on us. She then tried to withhold our passports and was hostile and aggressive towards us until we left. DO NOT STAY THERE.

I asked if we could get water and my friends asked for additional menus but the waiter said that one menu was enough for our group. We were appalled. The waiter did not seem to even want to take our order much less bring us additional menus. So, we left and went across the street to the other hotel patio which had an equally fantastic view and stellar service.

If you're headed to Mallorca, be prepared to feel like you're in Germany... on the beach. Everyone speaks German, the food is German, the music is German-- there's very little about it that's Spanish. Luckily, they spoke great English at Playa Golf and we were well taken care of. We didn't splurge on a room with a view, but considering how little we were in our room I'm glad we didn't. The room was very clean, with a seriously impressive shower and plenty of space. Very basic, but it totally got the job done. The hotel is very well situated right on the beach and near lots of the nightlife, if that's your thing. We opted for our breakfast to be included in our lodging and that was a great choice, as the breakfast buffet was a really impressive spread each morning. Concierge were always very helpful in assisting us with whatever we needed, and they had a few computers with (paid) internet access available if needed. While I wouldn't plan on returning to Mallorca, if I somehow found myself there again I wouldn't hesitate to book at Playa Golf.
