It would have been a five star review if the owner had represented the item more accurately as far as exact age and provenance. Still, it's Turkey and for that, it is a great store with loads of items - worth a special trip if you are interested in buying a real antique from not just the Middle East, but also Europe. Recommended!

And no wonder: the owner Saadet makes fantastic jewelry, modern and antique copies. Prices are good: there are more expensive gold and silver pieces and cheaper stuff too. You will get your precious new purchase carefully packed in a little sachet filled with lavender and roses. And of course on top will be a pin with a legendary eye to protect from all bad things.

We purchased a beautifully designed throw from Iran and a set of contemporary coasters that will remind us of our stay in Istanbul. The store is well worth a visit!
