So my mom bought a gazebo from canadian tire in chilliwack for $1300 in april. We live in hope so she called ahead of time and they said they had it but it was the last one so she asked if she could arrive at 530 to pick it up and they said yes. However when she got there at 515 the front desk said its too late the warehouse guy had left for his shift. They then convinced the guy to go and get the gazebo who is now complaining to my mom that his dinner plans are ruined even though she called ahead to avoid such a thing. Btw hope is quite a distance from chilliwack when your driving a pickup truck. gas at the time was $2 a litres which equals $50 there and back and if they didnt get the gazebo for her that would have cost her $100 in total gas money. So next when we set it up the mosquito net was defective. We called canadian tire asap and they said they would not get any shipments of the netting until the end of june which was two months away at that point. we were very disappointed to hear that as mosquitos are pretty bad around here especially since all the flooding. Seeing as it took us two days for me and my girlfriend to set up the gazebo, we were not able to return it. Seeing as it was over $1000 purchase my mom was pretty upset. We even bought a gazebo first from home depot and returned it before opening it because we thought that canadian tire had better quality and we wanted to give them our business. When my mom talked to customer service about the issue she asked if she could have a discount on the defective product. They said no they cant give her a discount but offered her a $150 giftcard and told her to contact the manufacturer about the netting and she was ok with that. We finally received the netting and the gift card in July. Much to my moms dismay, when she went to use the gift card it was BLANK the sum of ZERO dollars! My mom was HUMILIATED fighting back tears infront of a lineup of people. She purchased the $150 dollars worth of items because she felt like a criminal or scammer infront of EVERYBODY. How disrespectful to me and my family we are very disgusted with Canadian Tire right now and the way they treat their customers. We have been loyal customers our whole lives and used to do our christmas shopping there but now we are shocked and literally sick to our stomach because of Canadian Tire. Goodbye Un-Canadian Tire we will be a home depot costumer from now on. UPDATE: They called us and said that the card was hacked and spent in Saskatchewan which makes sense but now a fraud case has been opened in my moms name. By now this is getting pretty ridiculous as it is now August 1st and we have been dealing with this since April!

When going through the self checkout, my husband and I were scanning our groceries with the hand scanner. An associate locked us out of the scanner but claimed it was "needing to be reset". We then moved to another, to restart the transaction. A woman, claiming to be the "head of security", approached us and told us we needed to unload our groceries onto the table. As we didn't have much, and were not bagging our groceries, we didn't see a reason to do this. We're honest shoppers. We scanned every individual item. I explained to her that there would be no purpose to this as we'd just need to put everything back in the cart to bring it to our car as our reusable shopping bags are in the trunk of our car. She then steps in my face, trying to intimidate me, and repeats that she's the "head of security" and it's "Walmart policy". Nowhere in the store is it stated that groceries must be unloaded onto the table next to the scanners. After we scanned all of our groceries, she said nothing, walked away, and locked our kiosk once again. We stood there and were unable to pay for our groceries and were accused of theft. This is completely unacceptable, insulting, and degrading. We have been shopping at Walmart for years. We have never stolen a thing, and never would. We were openly picking up and scanning every item, there was no secrecy or "shadiness" happening when trying to check out. We just wanted to get our groceries and go. We were then forced to walk backwards through the self checkout line up, and wait in line once again for a person to check us out. There were only two open, and the lines were long. We did so without issue, and paid for our $160.00 grocery bill. This interaction left us feeling violated, disgusted, uncomfortable, and angry. How dare we be accused of something like this, with absolutely no cause for concern? I wonder what the reason we were targeted was? I'd be curious to know what about our profiles set off false alarm bells. This needs to be responded to, and rectified. I'm no longer comfortable even entering the store. It's a shame, as it's close to my house and the closest one is now 20 minutes away in Abbotsford.

to the tech department --…read more The chilliwack london drugs is the closest apple care service provider I booked an appointment through my phone app to get my phone screen fixed. I dropped my phone off - and they called my wife to say they couldnt fix my phone because the vibrate on my phone is broken, which makes it a replacement phone. They said it could take around 3 days or so - to send my phone out for a new one, which I couldn't do because I run a business and my phone is used for work. So I decided to schedule an appointment and take the day going to the Coquitlam apple store to get a replacement phone (same day). After being there for 5 minutes, and I explained what london drugs said - they looked at my phone and turned the vibrate setting from OFF to ON. There was nothing broken. So now, its not a replacement phone and its back to being a screen repair. And unless I wanted to stay in the mall for another 4 hours in Coquitlam, I needed to reschedule. So back to london drugs I went, where they let my phone sit for 2 days.. (i just picked it up / because i was sick of being sidelined, regardless of the inconvenience I was caused.). My screen is still broken. When they spoke with my wife, and she told them i needed the phone for work - their response was "yeah, everyone says that." Will drive to mission to have it fixed. Thanks guys! :)
