One of the worst locations. Service department is terrible. Parts department is staffed with kids who really don't know auto. Actually told me they don't make a rear wiper blade for my car. Besides that CT in general has the worst return policies. read more

I went to Canadian Tire on Saturday at around 12 Noon to buy a few parts for my car. I got there and there was a line up of 2 people in front of me and 2 others behind me. The Indian lady from service came over to the Parts Dept to give a helping hand. After 1/2 hour of waiting in line, it was my turn, then the young employee said to me give me a couple of minutes while I take care of the guy behind me. I was shocked and upset so I left the store. This is the 3rd time within a couple of months that I had an altercation with employees. I don't think they believe in customer service. Even the service manager saw the line up but sat in his office. read more

The store manager 'Joe' refused to take back merchandise and provide me with a store credit since l didn't have an invoice. I told him that it was gifted and that l didn't have one. He rudely denied my credit and told me to put it on Craigslist and walked away. I took the merchandise to the Woodbridge store and they gracelessly honoured the store credit. This store is poorly managed and unappreciative of the customer loyalty l provided over the years. read more

The management and the floor staff( who looked very immature ) working on Feb 28, are very rude. They pretend to have a Covid policy with mandatory mask but their staff wear their masks under the chin . When I entered with no masks and explained that I am exempt, because my health history , they put their masks on and rudely told me they don't care about any of my situation . The manager , was also acted very strange - initially telling us that we can shop but the staff will not cash out our merchandises . I expressed my concern to them that they are discriminating but their response was that on their private property we have to wear the masks , although hypocritically their staff didn't respect that. read more

this prime location, boasts a very good level of inventory, which I think is crucial for both the location, and the sense of trust you obtain from always getting what you want, in one stop. an absolute abundance of parking at this location. my only real complaints would be the accessibility of the parking lots is painful at best, and this store always seems to be under renovation, or moving sections. staff are really friendly, and the location is great, even better that it is outside of Vaughan mills! read more

They were able to replace my tire in about an 1hour and 30min, this location is better than a lot of other location and customer service in automotive is better than other locations. Gave one star off because had to 18min in a line up and was frustrated when I tried to go to another cashier, who wasn't helping anyone and was informed that only the cashier across from automotive is the only one who can process automotive invoices. read more

This Canadian Tire is like all others. Something about these places make me feel like I'm back in the 80s. Maybe it's the lighting. I came in for a vacuum cleaner that was on sale and was able to find it in a couple of minutes. Checkout was quick and the cashier was very friendly. There's a hot dog cart outside that has a huge hotdog, fries and drink on top of it. IT's pretty great. read more

Lairs,Not Trust worthy - Canadian Tire (Liar) Product : Bistro Set Location: 3200 Rutherford Road , Maple Ontario Transection Date: May 2019 We bought the bistro set, it was on flyer sale. The set was displayed on very high section and was difficult see physically. Therefore we requested staff member to please bring the chair down so we can have idea about the size. He said he cannot bring the chair down and advise that we can buy the product and take it home to check as we will have 90 days to return. We bought the bistro set as per staff advise and took it home. I very carefully partially assemble the chair keeping in mind that we might have to return it back. We realised the chair is too small and decided to return it. I packed the chair and took it back to store, What I found by manager that they cannot take the bistro set back as it is opened. I told him that we were informed by your staff that we can check the product at home and return in 90 days. He totally denied by saying that "It is your responsibility to read the return policy carefully" I called Canadian Tire (Liar) customer services and explained my situation, I been told that that they have create a case and will contact me back after getting feedback from store. They called me back and told that as per store, product has scratches on it and not in a returnable condition. I decided to avoid shopping at Canadian tire, as Mistakes can be ignored but lying to customers is the worst behaviour by these so called big organisations. read more

Looked to purchase a bike today. There was no one to help for 15 minutes. I walked around half of the store and ended up having to go to the front to ask them to call someone (that person was helpful). The guy who helped me look for a bike looked like he didn't know what he was doing - he was aloof and didn't answer many of my questions about the bike. He appeared so withdrawn from the conversation and sale. The manager, Dean, was rude and sarcastic. I heard him making fun of me when I found out that the bike may be too big for my car. Surprised because I usually like this Canadian Tire. I may just go to an even further Canadian Tire, if it means better service. read more

This is probably one of the worst run Canadian Tires I've ever stepped foot in. The aisles always seem messy, the staff seem annoyed when you ask for help and the cash outs are dreadfully planned. Friends always rave about their notorious sales...some of which are really great...plus I've heard that they've got a 30 day price match on items purchased in store...so they must be doing something right. On my last visit, 4 staff members were "hiding out" in the seasonal section, playing soccer in an aisle, causing customers to scoot around them. An announcement was made for someone to go to a different area to help a customer and one of the group of 4 told the others to ignore it and that someone else will take care of the customers. They continued on with their game despite interfering with customers. The game must have gone on for 10 minutes or so before someone came up to them and told them to help customers rather than goof off. I did have an issue at this location which caused me to call their corporate office a couple of years ago to complain about offensive and insensitive language of a certain manager. Here's a brief overview of what happened: I was walking through the store (near the paint department) when I heard a manager yell very loudly at an employee (in front of myself and a few other customers), "Are you a retard or something"? I was completely taken aback that anyone would use that type of terminology in the workplace yet alone at all. I was so upset that I left the store. After taking a day to think about it, I decided to call their corporate office to complain. They insisted that it was an "isolated incident" and that all managers go through "sensitivity training". They also said that staff have an outlet to report such behaviour to corporate office without repercussion. Kudos to them for trying. The store manager called the following day and his response left me completely understanding why this type of behaviour exists in his store...he actually tried to joke about the issue and defend his manager to me saying "it was a busy day" and that the staff member in question "had been goofing around all day, paging staff when not needed, etc" and that the manager "lost his cool and may have not dealt with the issue properly". I get that supervising teenagers is not easy...but they still don't deserve to be treated that way by an employer and especially using that terminology in a public forum. While I still shop occasionally at this store mostly for convenience sake, if possible, I go elsewhere (Lowes, Home Depot) or to the Cdn Tire on Highway 7. read more

The worst Canadian Tire ever. I go in to do a price match on an exact item that Walmart carries but Walmart just did not have it in stock. And they tell me it's not the same item and on top of that make me wait 30min just to let me know. Worst service ever. read more
