Nice place to live but terrible working from home with noisy landscaping work all day long!

Good morning, I would like to say my wife and I have lived at the Broadmoor for almost 3 years now…read more We just went to our first Bingo night activity on Friday, and we had a ball. Thank you to Candese, the property manager and her staff, Heather, Jessie and Julian, you all did a great job. Good food, snacks, deserts, thank u to my wife who makes great cakes, brownies and deserts. Thank you management staff for having events for the community to try and get us to know each other and feel like a family. We didn't win any prizes Friday, but the fun we had, outweighed winning any gifts. This message is for the actual owners of the Broadmoor, if you read this, please keep Candese and her staff that I mentioned employed at the Broadmoor please. We've seen at least 4 different property managers since we've lived here. Candese and her staff are a pleasure to work with. I email often if I see anything that should be attended to. Not once have I felt like I was being a pain in the butt. Also, the maintenance guys are great as well. All of the guys are very friendly and very hard workers. You need to keep all of them employed as well. Again, thanks for a great Bingo night, looking forward we are, to another.

**I would strongly advise against living here.** Do not let the nice location, attractive units, or…read morelong list of advertised amenities fool you into thinking you are getting a quality living experience. I lived in Building 670, and while I loved my actual unit and made it feel like home, the condition of the building and the management were extremely disappointing. The common areas were routinely dirty, and the elevators were especially disgusting at times. Residents would urinate in the elevators and leave trash inside, resulting in terrible odors. For the amount of money residents pay to live here, the lack of cleanliness and upkeep is unacceptable. The property advertises **a lot of amenities**, which sounds great until you actually live here and realize how often they are broken, closed, or otherwise unusable. There is little point in paying for amenities that residents cannot consistently enjoy. It gives the impression that the property is much better maintained than it actually is. I will give credit where it is due: **the maintenance staff were consistently kind, respectful, and helpful.** Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the leasing office. Communication was extremely poor, staff were often unresponsive and unhelpful, and there were multiple occasions where I was given information that was inconsistent or, in my experience, inaccurate. Trying to get a straightforward answer or resolve an issue often felt like a chore in itself. The neighbors were hit or miss. I frequently heard people arguing early in the morning or late at night, which definitely took away from the peaceful living experience you would expect from an apartment community. I also had packages stolen or delivered to the wrong address. While some of those issues were caused by delivery drivers, it still contributed to an overall frustrating experience. **Overall, this property looks much better on paper than it actually is to live in.** The location is nice, and the apartments themselves can be nice, but that does not make up for dirty common areas, unreliable amenities, poor communication, and an unhelpful leasing office. If you are considering moving here, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before signing a lease. **I personally would never live here again.**
