I recommended a friend who is not from the Carroll County area to Mr. Swindle as I had used his services back in 2021. My friend who I recommended was charged with a dui in September of 2024 and we did not hear back from the Swindle team until October 2nd of 2025. Despite our many attempts of reaching this law group Tana was unprofessional and rude, and that was in the rare event she actually picked up the phone. Jason Swindle was supposedly in the hospital due to heart complications, and Steve guaranteed us an outcome we would be satisfied with, verbatim he assured us if we didn't like what they offered he would work with us to an outcome we could be happy with. Again, we had not heard from this team for an entire year despite our immediate $3500 payment. We went to the court hearing October 3rd 2025 which was postponed due to the arrest of Jason Swindle the day prior. He had shown up to court intoxicated, ironically. The court date was once again postponed to September 3rd 2025 and our new attorney was his partner Steve, who showed up disheveled and smelling of alcohol. His appearance was that of someone they hired off the street and his actions were not any different. He stared at the ground the entirety of the time in front of the judge, there was no representation and no defending my friend after our payment, our time, and our many attempts at reaching out. Tana, Steve, and Swindle are dishonest, uncooth, and greedy. They couldn't care less of the outcome of your life. They are in it for the money, it's like play attorney and they are just bad at it. Save yourself the headache with this group. There are many better attorneys in the area, Duke and Heath and Duffee are more appropriate representatives. Jason, I hope your poor excuse of rehab to evade jail serves you well, or doesn't, as much as you cared about the outcome of my friend is the amount of care I will give to the outcome of your health and time. Also, who shows up to court DRUNK after spending a year in the hospital, LIAR!
