This was my first time getting lashes. I chose this salon because I live right down the street and…read morewanted to support a local business. I had made my appointment for a classic set but when I got there they told me that most people end up wishing they had gone with hybrid so I said alright, that's fine. Nobody offered to show me what the difference looks like, etc., but to be fair, I also didn't ask. My appointment was with Sydney. She was a little cold and made me feel silly for asking questions (though I'm sure it wasn't intentional). When we were done, she handed me a very broken mirror to look at my lashes. I was surprised and disappointed by the outcome. I told her they were really extreme compared to what I was looking for and she literally shrugged and shook her head. I asked if there was anything we could do to them to make them less huge and it was a definitive no. I asked if there was a way I'd be able to remove them later at home and again, definitive no. She said only they could remove them (which I've since found out isn't true at all). I wavered for a minute with if I wanted them to just remove them then or not and everyone just stared at me. Sydney made sure I understood I'd still have to pay for the lashes (obviously) but that her boss said they could remove them for free this time. I decided to keep them on so I could think about them and get opinions from other people. I was given no aftercare instructions or direction other than wiping them with micellar water. She said she'd give me a lash brush too but never did. Overall this was a really disappointing and frustrating experience. It's been only 4 days and the extensions are falling out left and right... not attached to real lashes that are naturally shedding... just clumps of fake lashes alone. The lashes all are drooping and in my line of vision. Is this normal? Well I have no idea because they didn't tell me. I wouldn't go out of my way to say "avoid this place" as I don't yet have another experience to compare it to, but I will not recommend them either.
